No, they just mar it worse if you have a fresh coat of slick wax. The cats are NOT allowed in my garage!! :bat

David Fermani said:The center sections of all the horizontal panels have no protection and are beading similar to the protected panels. Very good point, I'm glad this was brought up.
NSXTASY said:Interesting, definitely switch wash soaps if possible. Megs #00, Griots?, FK1 1119?, Dilluted Dawn, Ultima Wash?
The FK1 1119 would probably work well, its a neutralizing step used in their decon kit, I doubt if it has any glossing/wax charecteristics.
The only wash I have that could be considered is DG 902, however, it claims to leave something behind. If it were suitable, I'd definitely send you a pint or so.
David Fermani said:Thanks for the offer. Of the soaps you listed, will any of them deminish the sealant's longevity?
NSXTASY said:As soon as I saw the beading and the relative uniformity of beads from panel to panel, I suspected that something may be affecting the different sections uniformly.
I am not familiar with AM W&W, if I may suggest, I would switch to a soap that has little to no glossing/protective/wax/polymer properties. However, I dont necessarily know which soap would be the best.
NSXTASY said:Also, I bet pinnacle bodywork shampoo would work well, I dont think it leaves anything behind, I just ran out.

David Fermani said:Nope, not Dawn. I've been using Wash & Wax from Auto Magic. Does anyone think the results could be squed with this type of product? Any opinions or recommendations.
