Haha! I lived in NY for 3 years and they used to laugh at how us Chicagoans would sometimes cut our pizzas into squares instead of triangles. And then coworkers would ask me to bring some pizzas back from my weekend trips to Chicago. New Yorkers must like our pizza so much that they had to have Uno's in Pier 17.

I disagree Spoiledman. Chicago has the best pizza! :grinno:

NOT! There is a New Yorker that is here now and his Pizza is the best. Come to L.A. and I'll take you for some.;)

Nizza Pizza in Arlington is run by some brothers who from Jersey. Seriously top notch pies. :)

You all are being too narrow in your quest for pizza. The best pies and stromboli I've ever tasted were in Sicily. FWIW, if you're ever in the UK, don't bother looking for good food, just get drunk so that you don't mind the crappy cuisine. :P

Did some mention motor oil?! If you are "in the know" then only straight SAE30 is the way to go. Works like a charm in the lawnmower...should work wonders for your car. Don't forget to add you favorite ATF as well to provide some deep cleaning power. You should be able to run 20K miles with this mix.

LOL. Anyways, on a more serious note...

I have "messageboard-induced" short term memory. If I read a "blah/meh" post, I just skip it, go to the next one, and enjoy the rest of my day. I think every forum will have these types of posts (including Autopia)...it's inevitable. However, I feel that Autopia's community is extremely active in terms of obtaining the perfect finish that there is a lot more worthwhile threads here than on any other detailing board.

Having been to NYC and living in Chicago for most of my natural life, I can say that Chicago does pwn NYC in the pizza department. Allow me to break it down.

a) Contrary to popular opinion, there are quite a few places in Chicago that serve big honkin' slices similar to the Sicilian style that New Yorkers love.

b) New York Pizza is seasoned differently than Chicago Pizza and it shows in the ingredients.

c) How many places in NY use different types of crusts versus the standard? For example, Leona's in Chicago uses a corn meal crust that is quite good.

I have eaten NY pizza and it is just okay to me. I prefer Chicago style pizza because the seasonings are more balanced than some NY pizzas. Again, this is my personal opinion.

Ruth's chris is fast food compared to chez prima in socal. If you're gonna pay that much for the sizzle, might as well bump it up a few bills and be treated like royalty.

:rofl Agggh!!! I never would never have thought that this would turn into a food thread.

I love it :getdown :getdown :getdown :getdown
