BTW, I'm not just a Zaino expert...I'm pretty much an expert about anything detailing related.
Thanks, Scott. I'll be here all week. Make sure to try the filet, and don't forget to tip your waitress.

I understand that my opinion about Zaino is probably not the norm on here, so I am prepared for a little flaming and some criticism regarding my comments. I like this site because most people can engage in a good debate with valid points. But I also keep in mind that most detailing products all come down to opinion. What works great for me may not be the best for someone else and vice versa. People should just realize that Zaino didn't work for me and that is my opinion/experience, not anyone elses'!
I am a firm believer in finding a product you like and using it regularly whether it's Zaino, Turtle Wax, UPP, etc. Preserving my vehicle's finish is my number 1 goal! After that it's all about finding the right product that suits my eyes. It's like appreciating a nicely aged red wine. But then again, some people do not like wine! That's my point.![]()
wannafbody said:certainly a dodge (and we ain't talking about a car). Being from Texas you do a pretty good sidestep :chuckle:
In other words, you've never tried Zaino, right? You sure have a pretty firm opinion of a product you've never tried. Seems like we've had a discussion about that in the past, haven't we?wannafbody said:I'm sure you are Zane- BTW if you are willing to send me a small sample of Zaino I'll try it and If its as good as you say I'll proclaim it loud and clear.![]()

Scottwax said:I guess that is the difference between what you and I consider the 'perfect' finish. You want your cars to look fresh out of the paint booth and with a very durable finish that requires little maintenance. I try to alter the look of the paint to make it deeper, darker and richer, which to me looks better. Sure, I have to play around a bit, tweaking the glazes I use, trying different waxes, etc and have to wax more often. What is important is for each of is willing to take the steps required to achieve our goals and invest the time and money as we see appropriate.
Look at it like performance mods. Some people like to keep their cars completely stock, satisfied with the factory performance and reliability. Others like to extract the very last bit of performance possible, usually at the expense of some reliability. There is no real right or wrong, just what you prefer.
