Your thoughts ???????

Sadly Bunky this is very true, yet it does not make it right. Illegal immigration can be stopped only when the laws on the books now are followed. As I stated earlier with "problems" having a starting point and rarely does the starting point get the needed attention it deserved to remedy the problem. In regards to immigration is starts with the country in question. If the government of that country is corrupt and evil people are in power then why stay there? I do not blame these people wanting to get to America to work, for a better life. So let's say Mexico for instances pushes hard on the cartels. Breaks those rings up, seizes the money and property and start to rebuild.

In regards to welfare, it's a broken system so abolish it. What was meant to help people out of a hole has become a crutch...a way of life. The majority of people on welfare have no shame and it does not bother them. In our politically correct society now welfare people get a neat little "card" that looks like a debit card. This way they won't feel bad because now no one knows they are on food stamps and such. My wife and I had to go on welfare many moons ago and it killed me....I hated it and felt embarrassed because it looked like I could not care for my family. So it drove me to get off of it ASAP! Within 2 months we no longer needed it. That's how it should be used.

If an unmarried women can get more assistance then why get married? She will just live with her boyfriend and they will spit kids out because they get more assictance. He works under the table and she does also. Their kids grow up with no traditional family structure and they groom their kids to be dependant on government assistance, thus a new generation is raised holding out their hands waiting for the mailman to bring their check.

No President can fix these problems because they do not see, admit or recognize there even is a problem to begin with!!

Maybe we need a King - not a president. Someone who can act quick and decisively with no BS. Round up all the infidels and "off with their heads". Take all the people off welfare and sign them up for the military. Then, have a human wall of machine gun toting said military lining our borders 24 / 7.

If you have kids and can't support them - that's akin to child abuse to me - take the kids away permanently and put them up for adoption and let the state raise them. If the later, garnish the wages of each parent for 18 years to pay for it. If they can't pay, make them mandatory employees of the military or new public works projects; or just have them pick up garbage on the side of the road for 8 hours a day.

Somehow I think if your kids were permanently taken away from you if you couldn't support them, a lot less baby-mamas would have iPhones.

We have a wonderful system in place...well it started as a great system but it is now corrupt. Our founding fathers set in place a series of checks and balances that would prevent a dictator being in power. Remember...."For the people, by the people"

Has there always been power hungry dolts? Yep, but our system is becoming bloated with law after law, ordinance after ordinance. It has gone from simple to incomprehensible and it's on a super slippery slope gaining speed into a dark abyss as each year passes.

I fear for the future of America as I see it being split up and divided as Muslims gain more and more political power. They will seek after sharia law. Doubt this? One just has to look at Europe where the Muslim community is out pacing the birth rate of the Europeans. In 5 years the Europeans will be the minority. Same will happen here.

They have a plan, we don't because we have our heads in the sand...well, many of us do.

I think it's just this... modern day political correctness is the pussifacation of america.

Yes, I made that word up.

There are a few posters on this thread that I would like to give trophies to. But then I'd have to give one to everybody

I train a good deal in firearms, I also get the chance to teach others. If I teach someone I will not teach just anyone. I profile people, as does everyone everyday. If they look like a person who should not have firearm training I won't do it. When I go for training they do the same thing. I know people here in Texas who will be uneasy about firearm training to others with middle eastern names, people who look like gang bangers and someone who pulls up in a Prius, walks in carrying an ipad and wearing flip flops.

Now, they are talking about places in many states out in the boonies that are Muslim only places, you cannot go onto the property, they have guns and train with them..
There is one apparently in Texas... :(

The news people said they are in heavily wooded areas, outside of very small towns who only have less than a handful of Police, and no one gets in except their people...

They are HERE....

Dang It !!!

Out in the boonies of every state is something cooking with ill intent, sadly.

I like the fact though that for everyone of "their" training facilities we have 10. What I do not like is that folks seeking to protect this land, and not invade it, are the ones our government is watching intently.

I can buy SBR's (short barreled rifles) and run silencers on my guns and I betcha I have raised an eyebrow or two. Again, prepare for the worst, pray for the best.

If you have a firearm and just keep it by your bedside for comfort but never get out and train with it, run drills and such, then you're kidding yourself and placing yourself and family in great danger if you will ever need to use it in a threat encounter.

Get a firearm, learn it, train with it. It should not be a paper weight.

In almost 40 years of carrying, the only time mine has ever been fired is at range/competitions.

The usual challenge of intolerance for intolerance. The ChickFil-A CEO had made negative comments about same gender marriage.

I don't believe in tolerance.

I don't believe in diversity.

People are people. Either good or bad.

Celebrating diversity, just highlights the difference in your face.

Nowhere does it say you have the right not to be offended.

We have raised a bunch of victims.
