Ugliest Cars Made?

I haven't seen anything uglier than a Suzuki X-90!

Bring back the classic bimmer designs instead of the Bangle bungles)

Are you talking about the Bangle bungles that have heavily influenced the design of cars like the new S-Class, the ML Class, the Camry, the Lexus' IS, et al.?

BTW, it'll be interesting to see what the next design for the Mini will be...as it's the last of the BMW designs that hasn't been 'Bangle-ized' yet.

I can understand why Bangle's first design of the 7-series was controversial, but you can't deny the influence his designs are having in the auto industry. It's almost like a paradigm shift in the way cars are being made, which are partly derived from computer controlled machinery used in the construction process.

Hate it or love it....I don't think there's any doubt about what Bangle's legacy will be.

Hey, Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre Du Printemps caused a riot when it was first played in 1913.

Yeah, that Suz. is ugly all right.

Though I guess there are a few technically uglier than the Prius, I can't believe the popularity of these things. They are everywhere already. I understand the concept and reliabilty thing, but they didn't have to make them but-ugly.

Yugo

Pinto

Pacer

Azztek

Oh and the B9 its fugly also. Hell, I hope Subby stop thinking too too ahead of them self. Those concept cars look like dooodle. :bawling:

Toyota yaris, echo, and fj cruiser, kia sedona, rio and amanti, honda ridgeline, hyundai new accents and current elantras, tribeca

That was my first thought about the FJ Cruiser, but now I like them. I don't think they are bad for a cheap car. Seen a couple black ones that had really nice paint with very little orange peel.

Yeah, I figured that might elicit some responses. Just because it is copied doesn't mean I have to like it. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and the new Mercs aren't all that beautiful to me either. I do like the new Lexii and Camry though.... :p

Stravinsky is a perfect analogy. All he did was shock people and his music sucks just as badly now as ever.

Bangle isn't radical at all. He just takes basic car platforms and makes sure that random curves don't quite meet the random straight lines quite right. Who wants to see their A-pillar etched all the way through their front quarter panel (Z4)...yeah, that's real clever!

Any of the latest couple generations of the Toyota Camry. Also the new Toyota Yaris.

And what is it about Toyota and Mazda that are putting their "crest" at the top of the grill, instead of the middle?

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that about the 300C as I know some members have them. As someone who has had two of the LH class vehicles it seems DC took a step backwards and threw away ten years of FWD technology and development. I have tried to like the 300C, I really have but the acres of flat plastic dash inside... sorry. I feel like I'm inside a cave when getting in. Not too thrilled with the mailbox windows either.

Now as to the Crossfire, Cobalt and HHR, what's wrong with those? At least they have some style to them. I'll second the recent Camry generations, boring boring. I see no one has mentioned the Gremlin, those were goofy looking cars. I like the Tribeca B9 except for the grill, what is Subaru thinking with the new design?

Yeah , the Aztec came to mind immediately for me , too.

I kinda dig the FJ Cruiser , though. It's ugly like a bulldog --- not the best looking ,

but there's just something about it.

It is amazing how many truly UGLY vehicles are being made but if I had to name only one it would be the Aztec.......however, #'s 2-10 aren't very far behind.
