03COBRA
I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well today I paid a little visit to my Aunt's early 90's Accord again. I was going over there to check on the durability of the Wolfgang/Natty's combo that I had put on 3 months prior.
I got started by washing the car, absolutley nothing left as far as beading or sheeting. The water just sat on the car and didn't budge. The car has only been washed 3 times in 3 months, and the car is garaged. So I was a little bit surprised that the WG/Natty's was gone, nothing left. I was expecting maybe a smidge of protection left, but nothing.
I was sent a sample from another member of the Menzerna PO85RD, from their Ceramiclear line of polishes. So I decided to try it out on this car. I had previously polished it out with FP II, 3 months ago and was blown away with the results. Today with using PO85RD, I was even more impressed with the results. For any of you that are FP II fans, you should give PO85RD a try, it has a touch less bite, but a 5 on gloss instead of 4 for FP II. This was also my first experience with FMJ. The stuff is amazing, very easy on and off. Never used anything easier to apply or remove!
My Process:
--Wash w/Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds
--Menzerna PO85RD via PC and a 6.5" Meguiar's polishing pad on 5
--FMJ x2 by hand w/PakShak yellow foam applicator
--Poorboy's APC (10:1) on wheels, lower panels, well
--Poorboy's BnB on tires, trim
