Tire finish, NOT high gloss!

I understand the bias toward OTC products (because, after all, they are so much easier to get), but I'm suprised there is so little mention of Wolfgang's. Wolfgang's tire dressing is very much a flat matte look, and it has excellent durability. I've also been surprised by how long a bottle lasts. After I got a freebie a few years back, I got excited and ordered a gallon from Autogeek. I figured that would tide me over for a year or two, but I've not even made a dent yet.

I agree with those who say cleaning the tire first works well. I tend to use Eikmen's to clean the tire, but that is just because I happen to have a bottle lying around.

Is this too shiny for you, Bro? FX on tires and Original AA on wells

meguiar's endurance (grape jelly) not too plastic-shiney looking, i love it! just the best and doesn't sling at all! and it smells great. but don't eat it.

What do you guys do for the part of the tire that is touching the road where you can't really get your tire stuff on because the tire is deformed at that spot? Do you move the car a little bit so that spot is accessible and then apply more stuff?

I usually just move mine a little.

just get a sponge and put a little of whatever tire shine on it, use it on your tires. if its too shiny wipe some off with the sponge.

Cant believe no one has posted pics of MEGS ASD. Possibility that I will never use another protectant for my tires and plastic.. I cannot find enough places to use it! Application is very easy and it lasts forever.

Carlack 68 will clean them and give a long lasting matte to low satin finish.

I believe PB's gear is low finish too

personally, I like medium to high gloss but not shilacky or plastic look, just a gloss black

therefore I'm a wolfgang and sonus man.

I don't see that anyone has mentioned it yet; but Meg's Hyper Dressing cut 3:1 works great for me. Low-satin sheen when dry. Lasts quite a while too.

Clean tire, spray on, wipe w/towel

Skimming through I'm surprised no one has mentioned Autoglym's Instant Tyre Dressing. Fantastic matte sheen and no slinging. Surprisingly accessible around my area since I can't seem to find many of the products mentioned here.

Sorry, what's ASD?

FWIW, I like DG TMD on tires.
