The WETTEST look possible?

Anal prep with 3M LC, Menzerna IP and FP, AIO and Zaino.

Paint has a dripping wet appearance, deep in color hue richness (prep), reflective as hell (prep and Zaino), and this appearance last wash, after wash, after wash. :xyxthumbs

#80 - AIO - Klasse Sealant x3 - Wolfgang x2. These pictures are 10 days after detail and after a 100 mile drive.

Here is an easy but somewhat higher dollar option. I used Poorboy's EX-P about 4 months ago on this Cayenne Turbo and every 6 to 8 weeks, I go over it with Pinnacle Souveran.

Those look incredible Scott. Just curious, what are all those spots in the paint on the hood (around the sun)? I have the same thing on mine (only the hood and spoiler though as far as I can tell),

:nixweiss. I am pretty sure the hood was repainted at some point since they didn't overlap the strokes too well (some light sections) and I think there may be some dust in the clear coat. I can only see it under real strong sunlight and only at certain angles. I'll probably get the hood repainted one of these days to correct the problem...that probably I am the only one who even notices. :p

Hmm...that's strange. As far as I know, no part of my car has ever been repainted. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. It doesn't even bother me because it's barely noticeable.

You can't see it too well in the pic, but it's there....could it be etching from the weather over the years?

Question: I know that I'm supposed to wait 24 hours between layering sealants. Should I wait 24 hours before topping AIO with something? (I'm trying UPP). If not, why so? What makes AIO different than the others? Thanks.

Bump...

Forgive me for not having pics, but I have gotten great results with two different combinations on my silver car:

1. P21S GEPC followed by P21S carnauba.

2. Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion followed by Paste Glaz.

I also have gotten good results on the wife's gold metallic Camry.

Metallics are a bit harder to achieve a "wet look" in my opinion but it can be done.

AIO has minimal acrylic protection. There isn't much that needs to cure. Also keep in mind that AIO is not going to be your LSP, hence cure time is not necessary. It's the LSP that needs to cure.

Thanks, Bill :up

Matt, like Bill said, you can immediately apply product over AIO. BTW, UPP works great over AIO. I think you will be pretty happy with the results.

I did not wait to top AIO with UPP.....just a quick update because I did that almost a month ago, my paint has a different combo already, after this I'll be trying the UPP again, the slickness is addicting :P :up
