The WETTEST look possible?

Orange peel is when the paint isn't completely smooth like a mirror....looks like the peel of an orange, or a golf ball. Here's an example.



Look at the side of the garage, see how it's not perfectly smooth?

I think the paint on my Pontiac GTO is kinda like that. Is this just cheap paint? Is there a way to smooth this effect out?
 
Most all Production cars will have Orange Peel..

And With LATE paints being Sprayed on so thin...There is NOT enough product to color sand without going through the clear coat..

i think he was talking about the body panels of his car.



and orange peel starts at the base primer coat, it is just most evident in the clear coat where you get your shine.
