Zaino line- what a waiste of money

106ff- never used it but from the work ive seen i can do the same quality work with OP....at $15 a bottle

Sonus green ultra fine clay- Clay magic/mothers/megs clays all are just as *fine*

NXT sealant- need i say more?

#16- dont see the big deal here, other than it is now a collectors item

OHC never cut or finished down well for me

LC's regular wool cut pads have nothing on Edge's wool

CG M-seal looks great but I've seen QD's with better durability

Mother's liquid cleaner wax - In this day and age, *why* would you make a product that stains trim?

I believe CG's M-Seal is a sealant? Unless my sealant bottle was mislabeled. :nana: :LOLOL

+1 on the wheel brush. I got it because it was on sale at Big Lots. But no, didn't really clean the wheels that well and just end up spattering my shirts with brake dust. Might work better with more of a twirl action, but I think I'll just retire it.

opti-seal was alright i guess. but i just have this feeling that it didnt last very long, even without being washed or rain. only thing nice about it was how easy it was to remove, but i found something better.

Reflectionz - I've been pleased with Opti-Seal, but you mentioned you found something better. What was it?

I feel the exact same way about ONR. To me, it may as well just be blue water.

And, what polish are you referring to?

Yea.. it just seems to make the water blue. No lube whatsoever. It does probably have a little cleaning ability. Do not wetsand with it! You why as well use regular water.

Im referring to the Optimum polish.

Wow, glad I read this thread, I was about to order some Butter Wet Wax and M-Seal. For me, I like Duragloss AW and car wash - but the rest of the line was replaced in my cabinent by other brands, I really dislike the DG tireshine. I have to agree with those that dislike Optimum polishes and compounds - too gummy for me too. Wolfgang - the whole overpriced line of products, a notch below Duragloss in everyway. Natty's Blue - hard to apply, hard to remove, attracks dust like a Pledge filled mop.

LOL. You're calling a product overrated but you haven't used it?

OP won't finish as well as 106ff on hard paint. And 106ff is the only polish ive had finish perfect on BMW black.

I find most of the Mothers products overrated. Poorboys EX-P was a big dissappointment to me.

Thats what people say, they say that it finishes better than any finishing polish, yet, no one can actually prove that. Since no one can prove this big claim, or back it up with anything other than their word, its over rated.

Does anyone here have a gloss-o-meter? I would disagree with you on that point, but unfortunately there is no way to prove it.

You can't judge a product you've never even used, I mean come on. :down Even if it was better than OP, pictures probably wouldn't be able to show the difference.

Overrated products for me were:

Poorboy's EX-P. Not that it is really hyped at all, but the look is gone after 2 washes and it just doesn't last.

OP and OHC are OK, but if I am not in the sun I would rather use other products.

FK #2180 just didn't work for me. All of their other products I have tried, however, have been fantastic.

not really liking my Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze. Tried hiding some imperfections and wasn't all that great, and a pain to buff off for me. But I do love that CG WMF great stuff easy on easy off

I agree with both of these.

I forgot about the FK line up. Pink wax, 2180 and 425 all were much less than they were hyped IMO. I promptly sold them after getting them.

Next to the NXT hype here are few years ago I think 425 was the biggest dissapointment ever.

Meg's NXT liquid and PB EXP top my list.

EXP doesn't protect AT ALL against staining, nor does it last long.

Poorboy's SSR's...they're nice to start with but there are other products that do the job better/easier.

#16 is a love/hate with me. I love the durability but I'm not fond of the look so I always put something over it. Shoot yourself if you put it on too thick and/or let it cure too long.
