The car only saw 4 days of rain at most from my first observation of this combo.
I was so disappointed after using these two. I put on two coats of DG 105, cured 24 hours apart. Then AW 24 hours after the last DG 105 application.
First, DG 105 didn't do anything as far as looks goes. It seemed to dull my paint. The car looked better with just a wash and NO LSP IMO. Also, it wasn't too easy to get off. I found PB EX-P, and Liquid NXT MUCH easier on and off.
Second, as for AW, it did give the car a little 'glow', but it was so little it almost isn't worth mentioning. I only mention it because the car looked slightly better once I put AW on compared to just the DG 105
As far as durability from these two, It is good for the first couple of weeks, and will bead like crazy the first week. BUT, after about 3-4 weeks, beading dramatically drops offs. And the beads that do form aren't 'tight plenty' like they are within the first week. There are only a few 'loose' beads that act like the couldn't fully form.
I found that AW needs to be applied about every 3 weeks to maintain protection. I was highly disappointed.
From this experience, my liquid NXT/UQD combo was more durable, and looked better. I can't wait til winter is over to get this DG stuff off and try out all the new stuff I bought this winter.
I agree on the looks but I found durability to be much better. DG are nice OTC products.
IMO not as good as the big boys but a decent line none the less.
