If you find it at Mitsuwa, please post! I'm headed to Chicago next weekend and love stopping there to see what fun and exciting things I can find.

That must be some serious user error with the Pink...

:spit: Nice assumption there guy, it couldn't be a formula thing or something else, just blame the user. Pink is far from being the easiest product I've worked with, it's nowhere near as easy as Natty's or p21s, I don't care what the fk1 guys say about that! Pink is not a wipe on and then off product like the previous waxes I've mentioned, you have to let it set up. I've tried many different setup times from immediately to 30 minutes and found that waiting about 10 minutes is the easiest, but it is far from easy. Another thing is the first time you open a can of Pink it's shocking! Compared to the great smell of Natty's or the pleasant smell of GPEC, Pink smells aweful. Having said that I like the finish of pink and I do plan on using up the can, but I wont be reordering anytime soon. Not when there easier products and better smelling ones out there. That's my opinion.:nixweiss I am in the SF area and I'm going to pop by that Geary shop and give this stuff a try. I haven't found the perfect 15 dollar wax but GPEC is pretty close, I'd love to find something better for the older cars I work with. Thanks for the soft99 tip, looks cool.

To either Chronos or Yourself Zydrunas,

Is that the place in Downers/Westmont? (83 and Ogden) I've always been curious what that place was since I go by it every time I head to my dealership....If they sell car waxes, I'll be sure to head down there Monday/Tuesday!! (Would be happy to buy some for people here of course)

Thanks! Cheers,

Sorry Slickery, but the Pink is sooo ridiculously easy product to apply and especially to remove that I can not blame it on the product. From new paint to more than 15 years old, there was never an issue for me. I haven't used Natty's or P21S, so I cannot comment on them but if you want something seriously hard to remove then try the Victoria Waxes when left dry. Belt sander products! But used in the right way, they are wonderful!

Can you describe it how do you apply the Pink (applicator, layer thickness, etc.)?

I must agree, Pink Wax is one of the scariest smelling thing. But it works always great! I have my first sample can, and it is dry, almost white, extremely hard but still works good. I use it with dry applicators, but it still spreads well.

I don't have problems with Collinite 885 either, which can also be a tricky product for some. Have you tried that or the Victorias? For older cars they are an absolute must!

Visited the Mitsuwa in NJ and the car parts store turned out to be autofreak, lol. Yea it was $25 but I decided not to pick it up as I just spent way too much money on other Japanese goodies. If you're wondering whether or not your Mitsuwa has an autofreak just check this URL that someone posted before: http://www.autofreak.net/shopsf.html

I was also hesitant to buy it cuz I saw a Soft99 Authentic Gold which was only $16 and when I asked him the difference he said the Premium had more pure carnuba so it would be harder to apply and remove but shinier. I forgot to find out how easy or difficult it is to use this wax and I hated Meguiar's Hi-tech yellow despite its results, so I decided not to buy yet.

So does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to apply & remove this wax compared to say P21S & Natty's Blue? Or is it difficult like Megs Hi-tech Yellow?

Its hard to tell from pics but what do you guys think of this wax's wetness, depth, and darkness (for black) compared to Natty's Blue & P21S?

Damn autofreak charges $16 for the gold, at autobacs it was $11. Anyways applying and removing is just as easy as nattys and p21s if you follow the directions of not letting the wax dry. I usually apply and remove a pannel at a time.

Bence, the fact that you haven't used p21s or Natty's says it all, so now I get it. I applied the pink very thin. After you give either Natty's or p21s a try you'll understand, these products wipe on and off easier than water. I guess I'm spoiled, but when you ease something as easy as Natty's or GPEC, it's hard to change back.

Some interesting stuff. I still use only sealants but I'm thinking I might give this stuff a shot if I can get my hands on it. Guess I'll have to make another trip to SoCal.

Its removal is similar to p21s and s100.. slightly easier than Natty's blue.

I tried doing the whole car before removing, still easy :)

I've done the driver' s side with Natty's Blue, and the passenger with Softt99 Premium. Natty's was darker- the Premium was a little more reflective.

For the Soft99 Gold, it is really similar to p21s and s100, more reflective than the Premium.

I just checked the Japanese market near my area...they don't regularly stock the wax, just their car freshener stuff and a few other random items. I asked if they could get their hands on the waxes and clay...they said they'd look into it for me and to check back in a few days.
