That's not a gas engine, is it? I don't know whether the PowerStroke models had specific bading or not.

And yes, it is very expensive to fill up a Super Duty truck. But, that tank will last for-fricken-ever :D

Nice detail. :xyxthumbs I didn't see the process.

What ever you use.....it sure works!!

nice pics's!! was that olive oil or mazola. lol!

must have consumed a lot of time, also.

$60 dollars is a shove in the old wallet but I assume this guy can afford it, his other car is a ForD Harley Davidson pick-up.

By the way the excursion was a 10 cylinder.

looks great

its a gasser unless the removed the badging

the powerstroke for the superduty and the excursion has a Powerstroke V8 badge that sits above the trim peice on the front doors

my truck when i fill up sometimes i have to start the pump again here they shut of at 50 dollars

I hate these cars. It looks nice but I hate it. It just disgusts me that people drive these things. What's even worse is that I've seen only one driver in these cars. Sad when a sedan could probably accomplish whatever they wanted to accomplish and much more efficient.

They don't understand that these cars can cause major problems with the earth. I don't even drive the minivan unless I have other people to haul. Otherwise, the sedan does quite well.

At my rate, I should be around $50 for a full tank of regular based on my last visit to the gas.

But the car looks great!

OMG, are you serious....

$60 per fill sounds great! - my 3-series BMW costs $100 to fill - and it's only a 10-gal tank!

You guys don't know how lucky you are with your gas prices!!

Carsfreak is kind of right too - as much as I love big cars and SUV's - he is kind of right...

We are not far behind your prices. It is obvious that the goal is to charge the same prices.:down :down :down

Very nice detail!

Just read an article on gas comparisons to the UK. It seems the actual gas price in the UK is not that much (all of Europe really) it the TAXES your governments charge that makes your gas so expensive. If we were to take out taxes on the gas, I'll bet the US and Europe are pretty cose in price.

Grimmster - you are right - the taxation level is outrageous - and that is the difference - no argument there.

It is just a robbing, theiving generally untrustworthy government - thats the problem. course fuel tax is easy picking isn't it! - just keep cranking it up when you need a few more bucks at the end of the year - motorist will (as usual) bend over and take it.

Can you tell I am sick of it??

I absolutely agree with you. I frequently see people driving these massive beasts around town, most of which don't even have a trailer hitch. So obviously they don't have any huge sh*t to be pulling around or anything. Most of these people just want to have the biggest truck possible. And then you get these people complaining about gas prices.

Even though my car takes premium and it gets rather expensive at the pump, sometimes I think gas price increases do more good than bad. It slaps some sense into these morons that drive a huge beast when they have no need for anything more than a Ranger.

When they see that magic $50.00 pass by on the pump, they start thinking...or at least I hope they do.
