FK 425 is a *really* good QD, and FK High Temp 1000P Synthetic Paste Wax is one of (if not "the")very best LSP's out there. Yeah, I'll probably get a huge amount of flak for that one, but I'm sticking to my guns. It is a fantastic product.
 
Just got a call back from my email. Nice lady. She didn't tell me the pricrd though just said shed send me an invoice.



So what's the price of 425?



BTW superbee, do you have the older tin of 1000p?



I have the new silver one and, granted I've only tried once, I just couldn't apply it. It was "dry". When I touched it with my finger it would soften up and get a little oily but with a foam applicator I just couldn't get any on.



Do you experience this? I wonder if there was a formula change between the tins.

Do you mean a Paypal invoice?



BTW, my 3 year old pot of 1000P is just as you described. You don't need a lot of product on the applicator; it's best applied very thin.

I have the older tin, and it feels dry, too. Just get your applicator in there and rub it around *fast*, but not too hard. If you do it too hard, you'll get a big lump on your applicator. You want just enough on the applicator to where you can feel it's there.

No. I would presume a pdf, or some other sort of document, through email. She stated that once you replied back that the invoice looked correct, she'd debit your CC.

I guess I was spoiled by easy on easy off waxes like soiveran etc.



I don't know if I could go back to paste waxes peiord since I've been so pleased with upgp

IMO, I have all of the WOWA products, and they don't compare to 1000P.



I should do a writeup detailing how I apply and remove 1000P. Its easy on and off, maybe not like souveran, then again with PS you have to apply it every wash to get any durability.
 
Yea I know souverans durability sucks I was just trying to give an example of what type of application I was used to.



I had no problem removing the little I applied. It was actually getting it onto thr applicator where the problens arose.



What don't you like about the WOWAs?



Btw I haven't tried ZCS, I got a few bottles of OS but that's another I'm not too fond of but I don't think I've given it a fair chance
 
IME, ZCS, OS, UPGP, dont seem to add much gloss to the finish, do not offer alot of protection, not much slickness after a wash and I was re-applying too often.



Quick tip on 1000P applicator loading. Put a nitrile glove on and rub a finger over the top of the wax rapidly, it will become soft. Scoop up a bit and spread over the surface of a foam app. Rub the 1000P evenly over the applicator with the palm of your gloved hand, apply more if needed. I dont dip the app in the tin, otherwise, there is too much on the pad. The app should not get saturated with product, if it does, I carefully wipe it with a MF.
 
Received my invoice email from Leda. Was just a pdf attachment. Had no shipping included, as it sounds like that's still a small variable yet TBD.
 
Something's a-miss. I just got my invoice and the prices are different compared to what she quoted over the phone :(

I have my stuff in hand. I told Leda what was going on and she said she was going to take a look at this site. They normally sell palettes of goods so we are REALLY small fish here.
