300,000 Miles, and Showroom Clean...

The Legend is a FWD car, right? That engine looks longitudinally mounted, like a RWD car.

Yes sir. I just did some research on this car earlier in the week.

Incredible detail, Cruizn. That color is beautiful!

That is great! I think the Legends are probably some of the nicest looking cars that Acura has made. The rear lights could be better, but I think it is still good looking by "todays standards". :) It is hard to beat a honda. I think that if you love them a lot, they will run forever.

Excellent looking car!

But.......let's not overlook the fact that a good portion of the car has, in fact, been repainted. There is simply no way a car with 303k miles on it would look this good without a re-paint.

Wow. That is really cool that the dealership let you put your car in their showroom to show it off. Thats something I could only dream of!

He stated the repainted areas here....

Recently had the roof, mirrors, hood, front fenders, and front bumper painted (fading and rock pitting consistent with age and mileage). All other paint is original.

How many cars with 300K miles do you see on the road? Not many! Hwell, the longest I have ever kept a vehicle is 10 years and 97K miles ( my recently sold 1997 F-150)

What is Acura throwing your way for you letting them use your car?

Nada, but I don't really care :). It's reward enough to have my hard work appreciated and my beloved Legend get a little recognition.

Glad you guys like the pics -- thank you for all the positive feedback and comments. It's been a labor of love over the past several years.

Hoping to squeeze at least another 100,000 out of this old beater ;).

My in-laws have one right now with 343k miles on it. Before that they had a pickup truck with 320k miles on it.

Didn't look anything like this car though....obviously.

It's all in the maintenance. Here's my history.

Very NICE!

I notice that there are many times in your maintenance history that the oil was replaced in less than a months time due to the mileage. What do you do to put so many miles on the car?

:goodjob

I love travel. It's all leisure mileage. I've hit up 25 states so far. I live in Arizona but visit family frequently throughout Utah, travel often to southern California, and have driven cross-country twice in addition to the Alaska trip and a couple of times into Mexico.

Needless to say, the dealerships know me personally.
