BACK on topic....

Apparently the WG Sealant has no or very little solvent content. I used it on non clearcoated black today (Lexus LX470) and while the foam pad I used with the Pre-cleaner did get some mild paint transfer, there was absolutely zero paint transfer with the sealant.

I have found the same thing with the sealant. It seems to have very little solvent content, which is pretty surprising considering how quickly it dries and easy it is to remove. Normally, these two characteristics (low solvent vs. easy to buff) are negatively correlated.

As for the pre-cleaner, I found this a very easy to use product also, but then again, I consider 3M's FI-II one of the most user-friendly compounds on the market but a lot of people here grumble about how it ISN'T that easy to use.

Thinking about pushing the order button on this stuff.. The Deep gloss concours kit looks like a pretty good deal. What's the deal with the pre wax? I've read so seem to remember reading it's a little fussy?

I have not had any problems with the pre-cleaner. It doesn't go on quite as smoothly if you use the enclosed mf application, but if you use foam, it is a piece of cake. Use a section at a time, rub into the paint, wipe off.

Thanks for the responce. I planned on useing a foam pad anyway. Sound about like any other "cleaner wax" as far as application and removal.

Now the big question. Will my g/f leave me if i spend another $50 on detailing products? I had a hard time explaining to her i needed to spend $30 for leather cleaner and conditioner but my seats really needed it so she understood.
