What's the best tire dressing that has a nice wet look and doesn't sling back on you car? Also I have a question about cleaning the wood grain interior in my car. I have Mercedes CL500 with alot of wood (including the steering wheel) and I want to be safe on the products I choose.

These are the tire dressings that I would recommend:

Zaino Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss (By far the best...Satin Finish and No Sling)

303 Aerospace Protectant

Vinylex

Optimum Tire Dressing

All on these run about 10-12 Bucks for a 32oz bottle (with the exception of Zaino---It cost 13 bucks for 16oz) and are safe for the environment.

I hope that this helps.

Mothers FX for high shine(no sling)

Tropicare Non Silicone tire dressing for a matte gloss(no sling)-the TC also works great on hard plastic

I like 303, Vinylex, NXT Tech Protectant and Eagle One, all applied with a tire swipe. But lately, I've been using up some old stock of Armor All applied with tire swipe. It's pretty good and cheap, easy to apply and I've had no sling problems if I leave it alone for 5-10 minutes after application.

Z-16 was my favorite dressing until I started using Mothers' FX Tire Shine. Similar appearance... similar durability... but a much better price for the Mothers' stuff.

The tire dressing thing is subjective. To clean your wood trim, I suggest a damp brand new MF, and then dry with a brand new dry MF.

Same here, FX has a bit more shine, which I like. FX is my new go to tire product.

thats a load ?.....

Why? because everyone of us may or may not like are tires shine other perfer matte or natural.....

but so far my best would be meguias endurance last long and the more you apply the shinier....

Irrespective of the product you use on the tyres, ensuring they are clean, allowing sufficient dwell time and correct buffing will give you good results, the rest is a matter of preference

Best OTC tire dressing I have used is Turtle Wax Tire Wax. No sling and long lasting. Shine level is just right for me too.
