UK Detail: Mr.Paul Dalton

Hi, I've been trying to post a picture of Paul Wiltshire's work (following the guidelines on the site) but it just won't work? Any ideas? I'm doing it from photobucket.

This is Paul Wiltshire's old car, a 1967, ex-works Arden 8-Port, Austin Mini. With a full race, all steel 1380cc engine, 140bhp @ wheels - this little beast did 0-60 in 5.5 secs and topped 130mph! It won virtually every concours event it entered. It is the only 'modified' car to be allowed to enter the prestigious Auto Glym Concours d'Elegance here in the UK. This is the only time the organizers and judges have made an exception to the rule - this says it all really! Enjoy!:2thumbs:

Hey kids,

Hopefully you can all learn how to make it in the detailing business from Paul Dalton. He is a marketing machine. If you could polish yourselves up, as he did, there is no reason why you cant create your own market like Paul. Niche businesses even need niches.

Spot on and cheers to Paul Dalton.

Tossers are haters.

Its a buyers market, its all good if someone is going to pay for it I say !

I can take a $20 tin of wax and sell it for $10,000 if someone is willing to pay for it. Yes, there will be that .001% with the cash that will because they can or I can sell a ton of them for $20 in a shorter amount of time.

Alright so let me get this straight, you know of a guy named Paul who is a "magician" with paint because he makes perfect paint better? And if it's not perfect and has deep swirls, he tells the client to get a new paintjob?!?!?!

Appoligies guys - my mistake, Paul has informed me that he does indeed use machine techniques (PC & Rotary), it is just my case is a bit unique. My personal collection of concours cars have all been professionally restored and repainted. All the machine polishing was done at the bodyshop - as I keep my cars in perfect condition (they cover very few miles and are all stored in dehumidified garages) my cars only require Paul's specialist hand finishing techniques - hence my confusion. The cars that Paul refers to the paintshop are only those that have non-recoverable paint damage that can only be fixed by repainting. Sorry to Paul and to you guys for the confusion. I hope that you will be able to see his work in the near future as it really is outstanding.
