I would love to own this car just becuase it is so ugglllyyy....

It is a 1937 Cord Beverly 812 -- even the name is uggglllyyy !!!

Head on looks pretty bad, but from the side it looks like every other car of the 30s. I can picture tommy guns out the side windows.

DennisH, it only just goes to show that we all have our own opinions I guess. I love the Cord design which was so progressive for it's time, ie. Front Wheel Drive, Retractable Headlights, Aerodynamic (well for it's time), etc..

I love my 300C SRT8 design and it was what drew me to investigate and eventually buy the car. There are a few people who have posted saying they think it is the ugliest. Each to their own.

Heh, heh that's an awful pic of the Cord! Did an image search and I don't think it's bad at all. It's a period piece. Different strokes........ ;)

I think the bangle designs are great. The original bangle 7-series was too dramatic but the rest are great. I think he has changed BMW in a goodway. The only thing i dont like is that Bangle is an american, and i believe that German cars should be engineered, designed, marketed and sold by germans to preserve the 'german driving tradition'

How should those need to die ? The one you posted is the most horrid stang ever built, and even among enthusiasts, it is known to be ugly. Sorry, but Americas #1 pony car is far from ugly.

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND??? Did someone put ugly glasses on our head? The Cords and Auburns are among the most beautiful cars of their day, I can't fathom calling any of those cars ugly!

You want ugly? These cars received some serious beating with an ugly hammer, they are to automotive design what Yasser Arafat was to high fashion modeling!

It's all in the eye of the beholder isn't it? The new Camaro is going to blow the Crustang off the street in the looks department, just like it always has...

The Aztec is a given as Ugliest ever I think

BUT these are close:

Nissan Armada (looks like they welded three cars together)

One word: Gremlin

pretty much any saturn made

what were these designers thinking/smoking?

I'd agree that a Mustang II is pretty bad. Other than that...Mustangs have always been awesome. The rest of the world thinks so as well.....Mustang has outsold the Camaro/Firebird combined every year. Talk about ugly...how about any Camaro built after 1981.

This is all personal taste, of course and I'd say for modern cars the Buick Rendesvouz, Pontiac Aztec, and of course anything with a fake convertible top have to top the lists.

Oh wait...one more. The GM minivans that looked like Dustbusters.

I don't think the Prius is that bad...it has its utilitarian mission, and it looks dressed for the part. The Aztec, on the other hand, was from GM's "excitement" division, who apparently thought a rhinoceros was exciting.

Speaking to the 300C...my problem with so many of today's designs is the high beltline which reduces outward visibility so much over 70's/80's/90's designs. I have not quite figured out whether it is just a styling trend or if it has something to do with side-impact standards requiring more structure and less glass.
