i've been using these SM Arnold tire dresser applicators for quite some time, and find they are the best to apply tire dressings IME, also they are one piece and don't fall apart like the tire swipes do which i use to use...

I may give that a shot as well but for Z16 I use a basic microfiber 4" pad and it works fine.

I've read this thread and still don't know which dressing to order next. In the past i've used the otc Megs High Endurance, but that has slinged on me even after wiping off. That and it's extremely greasy. I want a dressing that will last close to two weeks or more. And something that doesn't look to oily, i like a matte finish. suggestions would be wonderful!

hey, sorry. Forgot to mention. The shine I want is pretty much Z16. But I want something that lasts a bit longer though. I'm going to try the tireific shine and I may pick up some Z16 to compare.

The swipes work well for me and are pretty cheap, but if you want the Cadillac of tire dressing applicators look here:



Tire Dress Express



You can even order extra pads and an optional tire cleaning pad. I got mine for Christmas one year and it does work well when I remember to use it. The tire dressing pad seems to last a long time but I haven't tried the tire cleaning pad yet.



Griot's sells a similar applicator but the handle on theirs doesn't rotate.
