Just went over to Detail City and was shocked to see that they had been hacked!!



Funny on one part :grinno: but sad on another as I am sure it jacks with everything on the site.

I don't understand why people waste their time doing this . It must take hours or days to hack a site . I guess this place is next .

I mean you have to hack a site to get that message to a bunch of auto detailers??? By the way, isn't hacking like that illegal??

I just did a google on this hacker . he's been pretty busy lately . It seems that alot of vB 3.03 based forums are getting hacked .
 
Pats300zx- Sorry bout that. I just had some bad experiences over there. Anthony- Hacking is definitely illegal, and I was thinking the same thing about the message. Truth is, however, the message and the info the person(s) provided are probably not connected with them at all. Those hacker types are too intelligent to incriminate themselves that easily.



GSR- It would be a waste of time, that is most likely not his real address.
 
I am almost positive that that is the same dufus that hacked this site a while back...same anti-US and ant-Israel garbage.

He's obviously doing it for the "fame" or "recognition" of it, so although he certainly wouldn't use real info creating the account I would think he probably still checks it to see who is impressed or whatever and more likely to see how many people he's annoyed.
 
they probably think it was me. they got bent out of shape over a post I did a few days ago. Dont worry guys I wouldnt know were to start to hack. By the way how can you tell a site is hacked?

The firefighter website that I moderate on was hacked by some Iranian Cyberterrorist with a similar anti US anti Israel crap. Our message was down with Sharon! Down With Bush!



He must really hate a woman named Sharon... what is wrong with Sharon's bush, and does she know about it? :LOLOL



What we need is the cyberspace equivalent of a cruise missle aimed at his network and computer.. and to that of the person who taught him English!
 
Ya that sounds like what dc had. I just clicked and it came up with the anit bush and sharon thing. So he is a hacker and a democrat. Sounds like he woudl be hard to get alogn with. :LOLOL

You know a site has been hacked when the home page looks like this instead of the usual home page! This is a copy of the hacked page on DC but it is on a black page with large bright colored font. The things some people do for attention just don't make a lot of sence to me.

I thought you were pretty square with them over there, what did you write that upset them all over there?





As for the hacker, it could be that he or she has no dealings with anything political but is just a bored kid.
