Souveran to a haze before buffing

After using Zaino for 4 yrs, i have really learned how to spread material on really thin. So, as for the question about removal, it was extremely easy using my YoSteve MF's. Like any wax ive used it the past, putting it on thick and letting it haze will be challenging. How often are you changing MF towels during the removal?

One of these days, i would really like to try putting Souveran onto a foam pad and working it into the panel for 15 mins.

NickT has developed a "spit shine" technique. Maybe he will see this thread an elaborate.:wavey

Here’s what I’ve been playing with for a couple of weeks now - using both Souverän and P21S paste: Work on a small (2’x2’) area, use a 5â€ square of MF cloth folded into thirds, wipe the wax on, lightly mist with distilled water, lightly rub until the wax disappears. Repeat a time or two or three, then move on to the next small area. If I come to a swirl mark I do the above process with 3M IHG a time or two, then top with at least two layers of carnauba.

I’ve been playing with different pressures, using various QDs instead of water, and different sequences of P21S/Souverän. At this point I’d say that lighter pressure is better and the final wax should be P21S - but that’s just tentative.

Applicators: Find a nice clean, smooth, and shiny spot on your paint. get a new and unused foam applicator, a terry applicator, and a MF applicator (or towel). Rub them dry on your paint with medium pressure. You may say, “no way am I gonna rub my paint with a dry applicator! Think about it, do you want to rely on product to keep the applicator from marring your paint?

I use a 16x16 MF towel cut into either four 8x8 squares or nine 5x5 squares - smaller ones for carnauba, larger for polishes. IMO this applicator gives a better “feel for the surface.

Good luck and have fun!
