I'm struck by how nice it looks with the Z5! I've never been much of a Zaino fan, but I *am* a fan of good ss paint, and that is simply beautiful. Huh..Z5 is about the last thing I woulda thought I'd like on ss Guard's Red.
Oh, and I kinda like the way the owner wanted to keep the processes gentle rather than telling you to simply get it as good as possible. Bodes well for the car's future IMO.

Am I the only one who thinks the older style instrument panel looks much better than the current one?

The red really looks very deep and wet. :bow:bow:bow:bow
baseballlover1 said:welll..... GREAT! I do not think that i need to say how much i love these cars! I absolutely adore them! I could detail 365 of these a year (i would want a lot longer then 24hrs to perfect one however) and i still wouldnt get tired of them! I love how well the ss paint turned out! i love the back of the seats!
I was thinking that leatherique was going to repair the seats a little more however.... makes me want to buy some leather masters...
JoshVette said:Thanks, yea I was a little disapointed with the leatherique results after hearing so much good about it, but then again it was my first time to use it and could have been user error for sure.
I put it on heavy, let it sit in the sun for a couple hours, then a second coat, sun for another hour and soaked in overnight.....
I followed the directions and they did look darker when finished, but not softer at all, could be the German leather is just that way but I'm not sure. I'll try it again on an old Ferrari with hard hard dry skins, hopefully it will do better at softening them......

JoshVette said:Of course.....:chuckle:
I've already fully polished the old Mondial and done the inside, but the skins were so hard and dry, I'm hoping I can restore them with a couple days of Leatherique. Hopefully it won't let me down this time.:nixweiss
Dirty-Sanchez said:Talk about Jaw-Dropping results! My eyes are burning!!!
baseballlover1 said:Maybe put a black trash bag over them and use a hair dryer a little. The hotter you get the seats the better. I need to try it on my 77 911 seats... they are sooo bad!! I tryed to take them out but i cant get the socket to the bolts on the runner. I need a smaller wrench.
Josh, you always do stunning work!
