The whole reason I recommended the 18v battery to begin with is because that's what the large Nomad system uses. It's not stepping down the power.

axel_ny said:u may burn the transformer. try again with your car and see if the nomad is burn before u send it out for exchange.
nomad has a fuse 8A in the 12v plug, check that too.

180drft said:Just received my Nomad yesterday and tried it out today. I was loving it until I accidentally pulled too hard on the hose and the plastic fitting that goes from the nomad to the hose popped out (Check out the pic below). This caused the nomad to leak the water that was in the tank.
Anyone experience this problem?
Also I ordered it from orangeonions on amazon. Has anyone gotten a replacement from them? Thanks
