Paul Dalton's Products...

Everyone the purchases Royale gets free refills for life. Not every detailer wants to drop over $7k in local currency to invest in it though. If I had enough work and charged enough, I'd get it and offer it to all my clients. Keep in mind that you still need to pay for shipping for the refills, which also adds up.

If you use Royale or Vintage for your business and use it consistently you have to be aurhorized by Zymol to do so. If you not you can get in big trouble, like them cutting you off from all Zymol products ever again.

And I hear that getting authorized by Zymol is no easy thing. It costs about 10G and you have to go to Europe and undergo several seminars and training session with the Zymol crew. Product prices also change for those who are authorized Zymol users.

Seriously the only thing that seperates Paul Dalton from many of the top detailers on here is that he has spent a significant sum of money on marketing, end of story.

I don't agree. His patience and discipline are amazing.

In every PD thread, you’re sure to find the jealous types, mouthing off :spit:

Oh please, re-read the post - it certainly is not a slagging off, just an educated and very true opinion. For your information I have absolutely nothing to be jealous of, I'm very satisfied and proud of my life thankyou very much. The point at the end of my post was humour hence the chuckle smile, but you obviously missed that.

The point I was making is that anyone else who has witnessed the work of both Paul and other top detailers such as Polished Bliss etc here in the UK, will know that the standards are immensly high and at this level the differences are pretty much non existent. Where they do differ though is price, customer service, and MARKETING. In fact I'm sure Paul himself, or any other successful businessman, would agree with this.

Yes, thats what the world needs, more guys like you who only follow the hype and can't think for themselves. You need to reread what TotalPerfection was saying.

100% agree.

Noone is denying the skill of Paul Dalton. But to say that he is unique in his ability to restore a cars' paint...well, obviously you havent seen the work of some of the best detailers out there.

Perfect paint is perfect paint. PD does not get it MORE PERFECT then the next guy. There are numerous detailers using PTG's and proper lighting and are very very gentle with the paint.

Paul Dalton fanatics need to understand that there is a distinct difference between bashing Paul Dalton and saying he's a great detailer with an even greater marketing plan.

There are more colors then black and white, people.

The problem is, is that these people who are "bashing" him are forgetting to mention how good PD really is. Usually, their first post just says PD is all hype and nothing but marketing without saying he's good. Well, how do you think other people will respond to that? Then after they get called for jealousy, they reel back and defend themselves by saying "I'm not bashing him, just...." Well, a little too late there. Then, we all get hissy-fissy and call it a "misunderstanding." Also, it's not just about what you say, it's how you say it...or in this case, how you type it. :)

My big beef with people defending him is...why? He's a big boy, he can pick up for himself. I've always thought that when people are ignorant and bash other people without reason, it looks bad on them, not on the accused (PD). Thats just me tho...

PS...be careful with the 'how you type it' thing. Thats a hair away from saying 'tone', and we all know you can't hear tone over the intarweb.

Jeremy Clarkson pay to clean a car? GASP! Didn't he say once that cleaning a car is not unlike having your teeth whitened and drinking fruity drinks? :)

Ahhh, how I miss that show....the magazine just doesn't do it....

I love detailing... and I study marketing. I'm apparently good at both, and I'm quickly establishing a base here in my neighborhood.

As for Paul, he's good... but very expensive! I'll do practically the same to my cars, with similar results... for me, 6 hours on a car is nothing! I've obsessively CLAYED a car for 6 hours before!!!
