Paul Dalton's Products...

Not hatin' on the guy, just tired of hearin' about him.

I wish him all the best. But just because he uses certain products

doesn't mean everyone should take interest or trip over

each other to get them.

I think the point being made in the obstensibly negative posts

is this : using the same products as someone else who's successful

doesn't guarantee likewise results.

Just my $.02

I know a lot of pros that keep it a secret...It doesnt bother me, it is their livlihood.
Funny story along that line. I know a detailer in the Northeast that had a guy who was always checking out what he was using when they were at a mutal clients. One day when he went into the office bld to use the bathroom he came back and his products marked sample were gone. He got pissed off so he went and got another bottle marked it sample and filled it with brake fluid. Apparently as the story goes, the guy stole that at another location and he noticed the next day or week that the guy had some nice marks on his hood where he assumed that the guy used the stolen product to buff out some swirls lol.

I dont know why so many people have a problem with this guy? Sure he has been posted here so many times, but I honestly believe that this guy is hated because of envy and jealousy.
Not really, I am just tired of hearing about him because people act as if he is the be all end all authority on detailing. Yes he is good, yes he works with nice cars and good products, the best? Doubtful.

I dont think the educated people here think he is the "best"...But in that part of the world, they certainly think he is the best.

LOL he should've filled it with rubbing compound instead:grinno:

Thanks for all the posts! I wanted to try a new product line other than Griot's and this helps a lot when it comes to diciding which line to try, rather than just swiping the credit card at every detailing website... Great non-biased reviews. Can his polishes be used outdoors, in the heat, but under a canopy??

Good post guys! Me being a pro and wachin this guy I know he works his but off and does an excellent job. Is he the best detailer on the planet?....Don't know! Does he have the best marketing along with the best paying customers along with nice exotic cars?...YES!

He does have a ton of pride for what he does and I respect that.

Does he have the best products? Probably not, but he knows how to work them to their max and knows how to get the max results. It's what works for him.

Will everyone get the best results and match his results using his products? Nope!

Take me for instance, I use some pretty good products and I get max results with what I use. If someone uses the same stuff I use are they gonna get the same results? NOPE!

Most of us know it takes skill, talent, patience and then products. We all know this cause look at all the products we try and try and talk about.

Does his products look intriguing and work great? Hell ya!:chuckle: :dance

He does his own products, one is an LSP called DODO juice,

Have to correct you there Geoff, he has nothing to do with the forementioned Dodo juice, he did a bit of testing for the producers of it

I really don't understand why people are bashing on Paul Daulton. I think he has great marketing skills and his work is very impressive. So what if he comes out with his own product line. Some may buy it some may not.

Its obvious from his posts and website that his clients are all high end and his work shows it.

The way I see it...you can make fun and criticize him all you want. He is the one laughing all the way to the bank.

Oh OK!! :2thumbs:

Obvisouly i was advised by the guy who posted that over on TyreSmoke!!

Prehapes he is endorsing it?? Or the product will say tested by him?? They guy on TSN says he got a sample from him.

Geoff

I'd actually welcome more products developed by people who have a true love for detailing, as opposed to gimmicks like Eco-Sheen and Fukken Wax. It would certainly give us all the more options to choose from.

Paul has posted on DW about the Dodo juice thing, as i think everyone was under the impression that Dodo was his line, i think everyone got a bit confused about who's line it was exactly

OK, I am completely lost here. Who is this guy? What is his User name? And what the---- is DO-DO Juice? Lost in space to much xanax.
