Just a regular guy
Just ordered some. Looking forward to giving it a try.
Looks like an aggressive product that finishes nicely.
Looking forward to your thoughts!

I am thinking about doing M105 vs. FG400 and perhaps a separate, all-inclusive M101 thread. There is just so much coming out now that is just awesome. It is a great time to be a detailer.

I received the FG400 yesterday and gave a once-around-the-block today.
On the paint I was doing I really couldn't tell about the cutting ability.
I can say "It is SO MUCH neater and cleaner to work with than M105!"
If it cuts like M105 I'm hooked...The ONLY downside is the price $$$!

Sorry your preliminary test was inconclusive. Hopefully you'll be able to give it another go shortly and update your review. Thanks in advance.

Interesting Merlin, on the AG forum luv-a-shine just did a review where he found it to dust as much as M105. Hmmm, I'm seen M105 dust to beat the band and I've also used it and with no dusting at all. Hopefully those more knowledgeable will weigh in but I'm thinking it's the paint. Different paints simply react differently. Personally I don't really mind the dusting as long as the compound does it's job and M105 never seems to disappoint.
I know ya'll will think this is bass ackwards, but stay with here - I do a lot of cars with oxidation and dust is a given. A buddy told me to use KAIO first, then go to the compound/polish. I was a bit leery, but I tried it and I swear it works!
Ditto on the dust, believe for me when I used it I foolishly had 105 + OJ pad beforehand.
Working time on it is really nice, just wish I had a hammered car to work on it for awhile.
Mike Phillips did a review of FG400 on a 57 Chevy and reported no dusting. However, He also cleaned the pad after every panel. Maybe that's the key. I plan on ordering this product to give it a spin.
