Maybe it's just me, but I don't get what the big deal is about QID. A slightly damp mf towel has about the same amount of cleaning power and leaves a clean, matte looking finish. You just don't get the eucalyptus smell, which doesn't smell all that great and doesn't linger all that long to begin with. The only advantage I see that it has is perhaps whatever amount of UV protection it actually leaves behind. But that's what I have dressing for.
Sometimes I wonder if people are so used to spraying some product on first before wiping that they don't think just simply wiping down still works? On the paint, I can understand why someone would want that extra lubrication between their towel and the paint, but you don't need that on interior plastics.
