EdLancer- Ah, thanks for posting about your first go with this stuff!
Yeah, different look from 845 (and 476S too ) and yeah, best to keep it off trim unless you`re feeling lucky.
Speaking of lucky, you didn`t have any problems with pseudo-holograms from doing two coats back-to-back?
And I hear you on the can, I said "[screw] it" and [messed] mine up with a screwdriver
Don`t leave a foam applicator in the can for too long![]()
For this year`s detail I had all new variables and the only variable I didn`t really like 100% was Meg`s UP, the FK1000P was a pleasure to use and there was no pseudo-holograms as far as I can see.
1. Polisher: 21mm DA polisher
2. Pad: 5.5" Buff and Shine green pad
3. Polish: Meg`s UP
4. LSP: FK1000P / Applicator: Meg`s W004
I don`t think I have ever taped up the trim prior to polishing it is just a waste of time and tape and unprofessional, you will never see Paul Dalton tape up trim handling the polisher with precision is a better skill to learn ...LoL
