I was lucky enough to test a few Zaino CS samples, and have been asked several times ‘Can Zaino Clear Seal be Layered’.
I honestly didn’t know (hadn’t really tested it much). This past weekend I decided to CS our Tahoe x 2 after washing –just to see if I could notice a difference. I needed an excuse to heat up the garage over the weekend too
My process was Z7 Wash, Turbo Wax Tire Gel on the tires & wells, Z6 QD wipe down, and CS x 2 (2 hours apart) on all externals (paint, glass, trim, plastic) using a new Zaino applicator.
After the 1st coat, I QD’d the exterior using a mix of Z6/Z8 cut 4:1 (which I love), then I moved onto the 2nd coat of CS, which I didn’t touch after it dried.
After letting the 2nd coat sit over night I noticed an improvement in gloss and slickness. The paint felt slicker than Z5Pro topped with Z8 (which is hard to believe).
Here are a few shots of my wife’s daily driver (my test bed) -p.s. This is going to be my wife’s last black vehicle
