Jason has been kind enough to shave some Z off his new supply and send it my way. Holy cow, can that boy pack it! lol These things would have outlived roaches in the event of a nuclear holocost they were packed so well. :bow :bow I had to break out the big guns to get them out. lol I'm looking forward to trying it though and :bigups to Jason for getting me the hook up. Now I just need to find a local test vehicle for the stuff. hmmmmm......

Phuuuleeeeeeeze! Do you really think that Zaino can beat AIO? :D Even some of the die hard Zaino users use AIO as a base. ;) Don't get too carried away though.... I'm still not using it on my own cars yet. Me turning to Zaino on my own car is the seventh sign or something I think. :lol I've got a test car lined up to try it out on. :xyxthumbs

Should be VERY interesting. It looks like you got the new and improved Zaino, from the colour. I was considering changing from Z to try the Klasse and/or UPP stuff but if your tests show that Z is more impressive, I could be persuaded to try the new Z2 first.;)

Hope you try your AIO/SG and UPP along with Z on the same hood side by side for comparison purposes!:xyxthumbs

Yeah, too bad you didn't get some ZFX for faster dry/cure times.

Really? Do you find any problems in bonding or durability when you top Z on AIO vs. Z alone? Would you still need Z1 or ZFX as for the first Z layer? And how long after AIO do you wait before applying Z?:nixweiss

This could be my answer to not have to Dawn wash after SEC if I could just use AIO and then Z.

Nice to see the package arrived safely.

Z6/Z7 seemed to be relabeled, did they leak? I am pretty sure I marked them.

ZFX. I'll see what I can do. The bottle is so small, only 2mL for the ZFX. Tell me when you will use the Z, maybe I'll send you out my ZFX dropper, use it, then send it back :) Its worth a shot...

Jason, reckon with the low humidity they have in Utah (or at least I guess it's low :nixweiss ) maybe Anthony doesn't really need the $20/2ml ZFX?

Lynn, ZFX allows you to apply 3 coats in a day and make dry time under 30 minutes (think directions say 20 minutes?) without ZFX, dry times are around an hour or two. Thats in my experience.

Jason

Ouch. Yeah, I may need to do that. I don't know that I want to wait for 2 hours to dry. Since I won't have the car every day to work on I think one coat is going to be good. I really wanted to compare 3 coats of Z against 3 coats of UPP. Maybe on the deck do 3 of Z and 3 of SG. Man.... Maybe I will have to use my own car....:( Not the teg though... the Accord. So I guess the seventh seal is cracked but not broken yet. ;)

Jason/Jngr: I think the 2 hrs is for average humidity -- which for Jason and me is like 50%. (Well, unfortunately, for me "average" RH is running more like 70-80% :( ) But you might want to check with Sal. I believe I've read that in Jngr's climate, Z without ZFX may cure mucho-fasto. :up

Yeah in dry and hot climates, Z2/Z5 will dry faster but if you're not using ZFX, you can't layer 3 times in a day and you still might have to wait a long time for the Z2/Z5 to dry as you will have Z1 underneath as well for the first layer. Hence, longer dry time for two coats of stuff (Z1 and Z2/Z5) to dry.

How would you have layered 3 coats of UPP or SG? I thought each also needed a day to cure like Z without ZFX?

Yeah... I think I'll be fine without it.

Jason... The Z7 leaked just a bit. It didn't get much out...just enough to wear off the labels you put on. :p No worries though. The original layers are drying and I'll stick em on. :)

Right. I didn't say this would all be done in one day. ;) I'm very familiar with applying a new layer of SG every day. I think my record was 40 something layers... lol

Hope you can use it soon. I can't wait for the comparison. And maybe get some "blind" opinions from some friends, who don't know which product is on each panel, as well?

Now you are assuming I have friends. lol ;) Actually, I was thinking of maybe doing to coffee test on some customers. I've got a couple that only want Platinum and one that only wants Klasse. Maybe I'll pull the old switcharoo on them and see if they notice the difference. ;)
