OK what's the most amount of layers you've applied to the same car. I'm talking #'s as well in what time frame and product. I'm ready to be impressed
and this board has been kinda slow lately.

cause all that work of waiting 24 hours between each coat or something. i don't think is very practical.
and as far as autopians, the wide variety i notice seem to wax at LEASTonce a month. and on their customer cars they use more durable products like #16 which needs like 1 coat or two and it's good for at least 3 months.
i don't know, just curious. im a newbie and still trying to learn everything.

But hey if layering works then fine. Just need a car for two days.
Scott, were sick puppies, you know that, somethings we just dont make common sense. Sometimes i think we just like to feel like were pampering our finish, because it makes us feel better. My honest opinion is it does give us a little additional protection, kind of like reapplying sunscreen.I really don't get the whole layering thing.

For me it is therapy to help forget my regular paying job.

Personally, i feel if a product is worthy of itself (and the asking price) it shouldnt need several applications, hence the desire to never ever use Zaino....(Why would i want to reapply a million coats if this stuff is so awesome >>>)
I have reapplied 2 coast of WG, and BF, and Plat, and Klasse.....Because i liked the way it felt ....Maybe thats the Z thing also...?

Who cares about whether layering is a waste of time or not. I wanna hear from the obsessive compulsives out there who can't help themselves.
