So I have a car that is going to get repainted, I decided that I would see how serious of a scratch I could take out with just a PC and some SSR 2.5. Here is a before picture of the scratch I put in the hood with a pair of pliers (cringe :scared: )
Here is an after, when I took the picture at the same angle it didnt come out right so I had to take a different angle.
It came out alright, an autopian would spot the area after looking closely but the average person wouldnt see it. I used SSR 2.5 with a yellow cutting pad on speed 6 with about 10-15 pounds of pressure :shocked . When I decided it wasnt going to get much better I stopped, the hood was almost burning to the touch. I wonder how much clear is left
After looking at the swirls, I decided to practice taking them out. Here is a nice before picture
