Finish Kare 425

The Pink is bright and reflective, but over 1000P the wetness is better IMO.

Rob, I'd give the versatility nod definitely to 425. Can you use QS on plastics, laptop screens?

Absolutely.

I wash my truck correctly, but I still get smearing with #425. Funny thing is it's only on the hood and roof, the sides dry fine. MF is clean, so thats not it?

what sealant or wax? maybe a temperature issue.

I might agree with that. I'm using 425 over regular Natties and under low lighting I can see where it is blotchy. Although I'm very critical of QD's clearing out on the paint properly.

It helps to buff your first before aplying 425. Particularly on horizontal surfaces. If your Carnauba (which tends to 'lump' more than acrylic) is not even the 425 may magnify this and give a blotchy appearance.

I never apply 425 without first using 146 to clean anything that may have been missed in the wash or to remove pollen/dust/sand midweek. 425's viscosity means your best bet would be to work it in a little more than a more watery qd spray. Worth the effort.
