Scottwax said:8 week update. Still looks great and as these videos show, water still runs right off the paint. Used the car wash soap this time to make it more obvious.

Scottwax said:I thought it would be out by now. I know my distributor in Dallas wants me to detail his work van (he is also a ColorGlo rep) and apply the coating so he can see how it goes on and use how his van looks to help sell the product. He will probably be hitting up dealerships with a sales pitch once it is out.
As for my impressions so far, I couldn't be more pleased. The look is terrific and it seems to protect very well. I left some bird bombs sitting on the paint for several days. The pressure wand took all traces off and no etching was left behind. Best of all though? All I do now is wash my car at the coin-op (I don't want the polymers in ONR to aid the coating in any way) and dry it. No more spending time with QD's or waxes and more time on my road bike.![]()
Scottwax said:Pro Stop Ceramics I got at Pep Boys. Better brake feel than the stock pads, stops better too. Decent when cold but like race brakes they are even better when you get a little heat in them.
WaxManRonnie said:How is this stuff compared to the Ultima line? I know very little about both
of these brands and I'm very interested. Not for my cars. But I would need to
practice on something. I'd be afraid of putting on too much.
WaxManRonnie said:Scott,
If you have some time, could you video yourself applying that
to a fender or the hood? I just want to see how much of that you actually use.
Or how little of it.
Scottwax said:Of what? The coating or Opti-Seal? I know there are Opti-Seal videos on youtube. Similar process for the coating.
