We apply the coating to headlights after we sand and polish them at our shop.

This is a little video I shot. The coating is on the wheels. The pressure washer is at 1000 psi and the wheel was not pre treated with any cleaners.

Of course we do smell it, right? Just like when the waiter says "hot plate" we have to touch it to see if he was right.
Just sprayed off my car again since it was dusty and then we got enough rain to spot the paint. Not sure how effective it is using the soap setting at a coin op when the soap runs right off the paint!

... For the wheels the longevity will probably not be as good as the panels on the car. Example My wife's black Expedition had not been washed for 3 months. She drives 30 miles to and from work every day. The coating was applied to the wheels ..in April of 07..
Today I washed it at the shop 50% of the dirt came off the wheels with the pressure washer the rest had to be washed off with a soft brush and a little APC. None of the brake dust bonded to the finish the wheels look shiny for painted ford rims but ...

Has Dr. G said anything to you about applying it to glass?
My apologies to Accumualtor and others who are reading this thread. I posted that the product was applied in 07 but it was 08..
