Dripping Wet Torch Red Corvette!! (Full Correction) by Rickrack...

Not to take anything away from anyone else (as there are so many top notch detailers on Autopia) but I can't wait for your and Ryan's pictures. Every day I hope to see new pictures from you guys.

Once again you delivered!

Looks PERFECT!

I want to see another full wetsand and correction job ala that G35! I'm sure your backs can do without it though. :D

Nice work Rick! An LT4 car too. Sweet! The C4's were pretty cool, but they seem kinda hard to get into. I was talking about this with my buddy the other day as he was hopping out of a C5 Z06. He was talking about it being hard and I recalled the C4 "step up and fall in."

It's fun taking pics with a nice camera. My sister has a DSLR and I love using it...even though I'm not very good with it and I dont understand how to really use it to it's potential.

We have one coming... Rick just has to post it up.

Our backs and knees/tendons are killing.

As I scrolled down thru the pictures I had this big grin on my face and I don't even own the car........:D

I'm quite sure the owner was floored. Just a really great write up here.......:xyxthumbs

Thanks for sharing that......

Looks like I have to start posting more then just to make you happy Thomas.:grinno:

Wow!..... Thanks for all of the really nice comments everyone!! I really appreciate it. Detailing is a tough business to be in, but hearing all of your great comments makes it all worth it in the end!

Way2SSlow- Thanks! I have been rediculously busy all summer, so it has been hard to find the time to post all of my work. I have another wetsand job that Ryan and I worked on that I need to post up soon.

As for C4's being hard to get into, you're not kidding!

bert 31- Bert, I don't think it's unnecessary. It all depends on the particular job that your working on and the results you are looking to achieve. This paint was polished to perfection, so a coat of AIO wouldn't have added anything to the end result.

zoomzoom mazda5- Thanks a lot!

shine- Thank you! They are awesome, but can get to be an expensive hobby!

mixxer- Thanks!

4DRSpeed- Ha, ha... Thanks! You need to put your sunglasses on! :cool:

jsatek- Thanks! If I could do that in 8 hours I would be a very rich man!

TH0001- Todd, you have no idea how much that means coming from such a great detailer such as yourself! I recently detailed a 93' Ruby Red 40th Anniversary ZR-1 which will be the next write-up, so you'll have to check it out. The owner was extremely happy with the results. Thanks again...

tdekany- Thomas, you are too kind! I'll try to find the time to post some other details...

rydawg- I hear that! We'll be detailing out of our wheelchairs soon if we keep going at the rate we are... :grinno:

Dave1- Dave, thank you so much! It was definitely a ton of work! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

blucpe- supercalafragalistic...... Are you sure that is the correct spelling?? Ha, ha...

Paul Dalton having nothing on me?...... No comment! ;)

rydawg- Anything to make my buddy Thomas happy! ;)

Got_Leather- Thanks DJ! He was very pleased with the results...

Thanks again everone!!!!

I'm glad you did, I almost missed this. That is a spectacular job; the paint looks insane. Bravo.

One question, why did you do the muffler painting after the clay/polishing? Just wondering.

Awesome work and thanks for sharing it with us. I have to ask - is the Wicked Metal Polish a Mass. based product? (j/k). I remember that word as a kid growing up in Randolph!

absolutely amazing work...as an owner of a very red car I love and appreciate this type of detail probably more than most.

Like others said, though, damn you for setting the bar so high! Haha.

:think::think::think:

Nope can't come up with a word to describe what you have done with that car. I'm speechless.

:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
