Dripping Wet Torch Red Corvette!! (Full Correction) by Rickrack...

Fantastic work!! Very impressive!!

Thanks for making me think of using AIO on wheels. I am working on an Impala that is in need of some wheel attention. It almost looks like clear coat failure does on paint. Hopefully I can bring them back to normal. I also like the smaller pad you use for wheels and headlights. I use a FLEX and they don't any attachments like that yet...oh well.

Thanks again.....Great work!!

Thanks mose!

Zaino AIO works awesome on wheels. Follow it up with some Clear-Seal, Z6 or Z8 and the aluminum pops like crazy.

It really is ALMOST too red. I know how red those Torch Red Vettes can be. One of my best friend's used to have one, and it's too much at times. Haha. Nonetheless, a fantastic detail!

gmblack3a- Thanks Bryan! It's been very hard to find time to post my details lately. I will be posting up more in the near future.

MotorCity- Thanks a lot!

EisenHulk- Ha, ha..Thanks! It is almost is too red... When I was downloading the pictures, all I thought was that people are going to think I edited the pictures, but they are straight out of the camera.

TSC17- Thanks Todd!

EisenHulk- Now if I can only find the time to make my Corvette look like this one!! Maybe I'll pay Ryan to do it! :think2

Buff Me- Thanks!

Absolutely Superb work Rick!

That was definately the best condition C4 I have ever seen for being original paint. Now it is just absolutely flawless after your week of long work. He is a lucky guy to have such a perfect car.

Oh by the way, you are a thread hog....10 pages of pics:laugh::laugh:

p.s. We need a vacation:rules:

Thanks Ryan!

It was definitely one of the nicest C4's I have ever worked on. Now I need to get my fathers Vette (identical car) looking the same way.

It's really hard to limit the number of pictures now that I have my new D60! It's so addicting... I guess I don't have to tell you though! :chuckle:

Vacation........................ I wish!!

Rick, do you usually use foam rather than wool with M105 or was this an exception?

Also, did you go straight from 85rd to Z5 or did you use Z-AIO in between?

OK, deal!! :D:grinno:

Bigpoppa3346- Thanks for the kind words! In all honesty, I bet it does look better than it did 12 years ago! The owner does a great job keeping the car in great shape.

bert 31- Yes, I normally use M105 with a foam pad. My favorite pad to use with M105 is Meguiar's yellow So1o foam cutting pad. I don't really like using M105 with wool that much.

After the 85rd, I wiped the car down with alcohol, did a Z6 wipedown and went straight to Z5.

I want to see another full wetsand and correction job ala that G35! I'm sure your backs can do without it though. :D

Nice work Rick! An LT4 car too. Sweet! The C4's were pretty cool, but they seem kinda hard to get into. I was talking about this with my buddy the other day as he was hopping out of a C5 Z06. He was talking about it being hard and I recalled the C4 "step up and fall in."

It's fun taking pics with a nice camera. My sister has a DSLR and I love using it...even though I'm not very good with it and I dont understand how to really use it to it's potential.

Do you find using ZAIO on paint as unneccesary? Sorry to pry, just trying to learn.

Another stunning correction job that's bleeding out of my screen! Awesome workmanship and attention to detail Rick!.....:usa

Fantastic work! I love reading your posts, your work is insane and that Vette really is too red it was literally blinding me.

Seriously thank you so much for posting this. Rick you have constantly been putting out top notch work and I seriously get excited to read your threads. I have a ZR1 lined up (couple months) and seriously hate that you set the bar.

Awesome work man!!!

PS, what did the owner say?
