Detailing Supplies Organization (pics please!)

:nixweiss Do any of you consider the shelf-life of these products? For example, in the first few pics, there were endless bottles of waxes, glazes, and what not. Unless you're running a business, isn't that kind of overkill and in the long run, actually more costly?

I keep my nicer waxes in the fridge to try to prolong their life. The other stuff, I just mess with it and dont worry about it. Most of the stuff I play with here and there, thats why I buy them, because I enjoy messing with them. I have some stuff thats pretty old and seems to still work same as new, they are all in a climate controlled environment, so I just dont worry about it.

i feel really stupid for asking this, but what is this product?

is it possible to buy zaino locally? what about 3m products? where should i search to look up detailing shops (if they even exist) in my area? im 16 and therefore do not have a credit card, making it very hard to get the products i need. parents dont like using itheir credit cards so much on small things off the internet.

Are those pictures of your retail stores, or are you just that Autopian?

LOL! I can not speak for BJ but I am just that "Autopian!"

I am not worried about shelf life as long as the product is sealed and in an environmentally friendly place, they will be fine! As I said before, I stock up for about 4-5 years. In that time, most of those products will be gone. It is surprising how much stuff one really goes through in a few years!

S100 Wax Is The Motorcycle Counterpart To P21S Wax.

There are some local Zaino Distributors, e-mail Sal Zaino and he will let you know if there is a dist in your area.

3m products are often available at body shop supply stores. Look up body shop supplies etc in your phone book, thats how i found my local 3m dist.

Thought I would post a pic to get in on the fun. Here is just my stash of Foam applicators. I laugh at your tiny stashes. :sign

What type of bag is that and where did you get it from? I have been looking for something like that which is easy to carry other than just a plastic crate.

I bought the tool bag at Ace Hardware. Regular price $29.95...sale price 20 bucks!

Perfect for Detailing stuff! Lots of interior pockets. All the stuff in my trunk fits in the bag so I have a nice neat trunk.....

do you guys reuse those applicators or throw them out after first use?

I Toss My Yellow Foam Apps After Each Use. At A Quarter A Piece, I Find Piece Of Mind With Using A New One And Dont Have To Worry With Washing Them.
