Detailing Supplies Organization (pics please!)

You guys should try 3M velcro backing plate w/ Megs foam pads :scared it's like they are loose. Haven't had any problem with them and Megs plate, though.

I've had problems with the Lake Country VC pads, as their velcro surface tears apart from the foam (actually happened twice).

Ok here are some pics of the swirls you cant really see this its hard to take a picture of the small grey scratchs you can only really see them in the Shade But anyways here is the pic of the swirls they arnt that deep with some AIO i was able to hide some of them but didnt do really all that much.

How is the Moose Wax and Impearial Hang Glaze I heard Good things about it

Bah. Get some DACP and that should do it. You might want to start a new thread though. That pic is a good one for some discussion on how to fix it and this thread isn't the best place for that.

I guess this is how my supplies are UNorganized in my trunk. The rest of my stuff is in the garage, but this is what I keep in the car at all times...

Vrooooomcrash...now that is a garage!! :bow

Smoker:

I can not explain something that has not happen to me. I have not had a single problem with the velcro. I will ask Mike what the scoop is and I will post back, fair enough?

Finally got around to taking some pics of all my detailing stuff. I try to keep it in just one of the sections of my garage storage cabinet:

Little bottles of all kinds of stuff are kept on this shelf:

Sometimes I've gotta use the next cabinet for the overflow. Anyone need some CAT5 cable?

My Eagle One obsession is well known at Autopia:

Smoker, 2hotford,

(and anyone else following this thread inside a thread... thread)

Here's the scoop,

Were changing to a stronger, more chemical resistant adhesive to cement the Velcro to both the foam and the backing plates.

Were changing the hook & loop to design to give it more 'bite'.

There or more things coming, but if I told you... well you know line...

They would have to kill me!

Stay tuned, I'm sure even the most punishing of detailers will be satisfied! ;)

p.s.

One word.... Nice!

Man, I should show this thread to my wife, who thinks that I have gone over the edge (i.e. compulsive maniac) with my paltry supply of goodies.

Thanks for the quick reply Mike!

I look forward to giving the new design a test drive.

Wow, this is a great post. It seems like most of you have a fixed location that you work from. I have a mobile set up and I will get some pics on line soon. Anyone have any real nice mobile set ups to share?

I'll bite. It's not as organized as some of the superautopians', but nothing ever really sits still long enough to need to be put away, either.

Nor can you have enough buffing pads!! :D
Man oh man! You must have nearly $1000 worth in pads there Tim! :shocked :bow :bow

After seeing everyone's collections I don't feel so bad now about my slowly growing (and presently untidy) pile of products.
