Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss

Hey Guys,

I was searching the internet and of course...I came across this site and was wondering the similarities this product has to CG citruswash...P&B Manufacturing

Correct me guys if I am wrong but I swear it looks the same as both claim to be PH balanced!

Chemical Guys do private labels :p

Hmm that I don't know..

I notice that the picture of the Citrus Wash on Chemical Guy's site has an opaque solution (meaning it's not see through), but my bottle of Citrus Wash is translucent (can see through it quite a bit, but it still has the yellow tint). Anybody have the translucent solution?

but P&B Manufacturing IS a manufacturer. If it is the same product, who's manufacturing the private label for who?

P&B sounds like the mother of a lot of companies as I been comparing them for the last 5 hours. They have almost simlar products from color to descriptions..though I have not seen anything related to Jetseal as of yet. I will keep looking.

You'll need to keep looking even longer dude. :hm Warner Chemicals is also affiliated with Chemical Guys and also has the Insta Finish products on their website. :wall

i don't know who makes it or whose label iot is all i know is it works so well. just 2 capfuls in 4 gallons of water. i just recently bought a car wash foamer in loews for 11.77 and used citrus wash and glow in it and it performed very well. it leaves my finish very slick and shiny, i highly recommend it.:bigups

citrus wash n gloss does separate...the glossing agent is the darker stuff...the translucent stuff is the surfactant...although it does separate even the more translucent stuff still has the glossing agent suspended in it...its why it still has a yellowish tint to is...and there is no real loss in performance of the product...

This P&B company is interesting and they offer reverse engineering. Paul from CG always told me to send him samples of products I really liked and that they had no equivalent for and that he could make try to improve on the product. I wonder who labels to whom of if CG is just a brand of P&B.

This is funny...

CG's products seem to be cheaper than P&B... A lot of overlap in some products descriptions and appearance in some items. (similar items separate 2 phases).

if you look they CG are almost identical to whatever they claim to do as they P&B are in Gardena near me and CG in Inglewood! Actually I been looking longer than that as I always had the same question asked....could CG get their formulas from P&B? Their is a lot of simlarities if you look into the details.

Because it looks like they (CG) dillute their products as I am looking at the P&B website they are more expensive because they are more concentrated look at the hazard rating sheet btw and you will see that the P&B formulas are more concentrated ...I bought some 3d products and could of sworn they are using a rebaged P&B formulas ..they are again almost Identical from color to what they do!!!!!

:grrr

yup..i kind of treat it like mr daltons "citrus degreaser" that we all know is just p21s total body wash..and p21s being 55 dollars a gallon...wash n gloss is a much better value

Is this true?

I'd like a nice "citrus degreaser" to spray my car down with before I do ONR washes.

What setting are you guys using on your foam gun when you use CG citrus wash? Whenever I use setting E is goes through soap very quick but when I back it off it doesn't use soap as quickly but I don't get good coverage either. I like to saturate the vehicle with soap first to let it start breaking down the dirt and then I go back and wash. Settings and ratio would be appreciated.

Thanks
