Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning by GSRstilez

Quote from Sean T Bush: "One thing my law professor taught me..."

So, you are studying law? That's wonderful! When do you anticipate your NY bar exam?

Sean, your regimen is fine.

Just don't offer it as the best way. That's all.

Jim

Jim: I'm studying business management. Part of the core classes includes basic law and business law. He was my business law professor.

I honestly don't think I used the word "best" anywhere, but if I did, let me know and I will remove it.

Best is very subjective, I know that :) ...I don't think anything is the *best*.

Yep, like a recent TV commercial says, "When someone says 'best' it's most likely only their opinion"

Well I am a professional detailer and use the LGCM and if i have to pull up in front of a car that I am about to detail with my little LGCM than so be it. I would contest some others to detail an interior using a professional extractor and the LGCM and see if the customer can tell a difference?

Good Luck and post any questions back here. [/B]

According to Cosco they no longer carry APC. They said it was too expensive and have replaced it with a Multi Purpose Cleaner. What would you suggest as a replacement?

Thanks.

I have been experimenting with various spot removers and right now Eimann Fabrik Spot Remover is at the top. I just recieved the 303 Spot Remover in and will be testing it out soon.

Sean, I have been using Folex on my home carpets and have been quite impressed.

I also like the entire Eimann Fabrik line (big fan of Clear Pearl QD)-it's an old classic brand.

Lee: I have heard Folex is very good. Where do you get it though? I hear Home Depot has it but not at the 1 near me.

I'm a little torn on the better Spot Remover but the 303 is cheaper and it was what TOL had when I placed my last detailing order.

sean u can also get it at target in the home cleaning isle its in a white trigger bottle usually on the bottom shelf of our stores here in texas works great you will like :up

Been from the UK, I was wondering what products would be ok to use in place of Hi-Temp Protein Stain Remover and Costco All Purpose Cleaner, as my seats are in need of a damn good clean.

Could I get this protein cleaner from somewhere other than the internet, and what about the APC, I dont have a costco card, nor one close, anything else i can use?

Folex is a lifesaver not only for your upholstery, but also your clothes, if you spill or brush against something. Target and Wal-Mart have it and I'm pretty sure you can get it by the gallon :D at Home Depot and I wouldn't be surprised if Lowes has it as well. Sean, this is a must have for you :up

I think you'll really like it Sean,

Besides it's ability to clean really well, I also like it because I've never had any foaming issue with it and my Green Machine. I've also had a full bottle that spilled in the back of my Yukon when I was on vacation and it dried and didn't had any residue problem plus I've never had a stain reappear with it.

Here is what it looks like:

Can I get the hi-temp protein stain remover from anywhere? A store, not online, or suggest a comparable one? I want to do this this weekend maybe!

The Hi-Temp stain remover is only available online unfortunatley.

You can stick with the Oxy-Clean though or my personal choice for store bought, Shout Oxy Power (granular).

.....Still looking for Folex...Struck out at Wal-Mart and Home Depot.

I got some Folex at Target, $5.99 for 32 oz. Also available at some supermarkets and Longs Drugs (not sure if they're in your neck of the woods).
