Can someone prove :think2 that the anti-Static thing really works compared to other QD's I just tried the #425 & i get good resluts but then again i get the same with pinnacle, wolfgang, adams, Quick shine & more. I really dont see why you guys are raving about it. I jusy got my bottle & its not something out of this world. If it were that good it would be in the category of spray wax that gives a super wet /Glossy look to your paint but without the cleaning ability. I agree that for the price its the best deal in town. You guys are using this stuff (QD's) on your polished, Glazed, Sealed, Waxed surfaces :rofl that will automaticaly give you Optimum results. Almost any QD mentioned in this thread is as good as the other. it's funny on how people suddenly went from Quick shine to the FK1 thing....... :hmph: are we following a train or seeking our own resutls ?

I don't think anyone ever said Quik Shine is bad. It will always have a place on my shelf. It offers no frills performance, very similar to the FK1. To me, I don't know if one is better than the other. I just like having both, cause I can :grinno:

Try using #425 on your TV. You will notice a dramatic drop off in the amount of dust that collects on the screen. #425 will not PREVENT dust collecting on your paint, but it does help keep it under control.

I've noticed the same.

Vice,

Just use it/them and learn the FK1 products characteristics. One key is initial look. FK1 products look very good, even outstanding when applied but they are gaining clarity, definition and overall appearance in the next days, even weeks. They may not give such immediacy and instant final result like others, because they need more time to cure and to reach their final state. Their strongest points are that they are holding their looks for a very long time, and they are DURABLE.

Ad they are working, changing in the first three days very obviously, and this process can take even longer (product and paint condition-dependent). They are mostly layerable and absolutely compatible with/over/on top of/between/what you want with each other.

In fact, FK1 #425 WILL give a wet/glossy look to the finish and even makes different LSPs totally uniform. Just take a look in the Click & Brag section (Green cars) and watch my Camry or my avatar.

It cleans as much as necessary, and it will look extremely good. Ah, and super slick of course. It does exactly what the label says. Not a common thing nowadays.

And it will add further shine, slickness, a very sophisticated look and its own three weeks protection to every super-prepped surface!

Couldnt someone simply test the FK425 "anit-static" properties as people have done them in the past. Do half a hood with regular QD then other half with FK425, then after a few days without rain see which side has less dust on it??

I have found that Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl (EF is an under-rated line if there ever was one) works great for carnauba finishes, especially good with P21S.

Probably, but some "regular QDs" have anti-static additives (although they may not be as good as the ones that FK uses).

thats what i want to see :hairpull can some please close this myth .......lol :faint:

Have you ever used a polymer sealant (famous for a static finish) and felt the microfiber cloth cling to the finish of the car? A lot of QD's break this bond. Not just FK 425....

:werd: I'm still hoarding mine Lee! Wished I bought a gallon when they were closing it out. I had a brain fart or something and passed over it.
