Best all around QD?

I know this is a loaded question (and its probably a thread already done, but I didn't find it), but just wondering what you guys think of some qds. I am almost out of my Mothers Showtime and was wondering if there are any better qds. I will use it on applying and removing waxes, polishes, and sealant, as well as clean off light dust on a car and last step after waxing. These are what I was thinking about, if you have others you like the let me know.

PB spray and wipe

PB spay and gloss

Mothers Showtime (what I have now)

Megs #34

Notice that all these are under $10 so unless its really worth the extra money Id like to get one of these.

For an all round QD, I dont think you can beat Clearkote Quickshine.

PB spray and wipe is more off a cleaner than QD, it's there waterless wash product.

Does Cyrstal Mist contain Carnuba? If so its not a good all round choice for both sealants and carnubas?

Right on the bottle of Showtime it sez it will not remove wax. Recently I've been using Showtime, I will not re-buy it again. It streaks and is harder to remove than other QDs I've used in the past, nice scent though. What I would recommend would be Quikshine, Adam's Detail Spray, Chemical Guy's Spray Wax/QD, and Meg's #34. I have some CG Pro Detailer (I think) and today I should receive a gallon of CG Ext Syn Spray Detailer and a sample of Pro Detailer.

Yes, it does. Just because it does, it's still ok for an all around QD, you just have to watch out if you are going to layer anything over it.

My favorette qd are Eagle One Wipe n Shine and Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Detailer. They are cheap and you can get them anywhere. I have used other qds and although there are others just as good ,I have not found any that are better.

Ya, I have to say that even as I move away from Z2/Z5, I still go to my Z6 all the time as a go-to QD. It seems to work on any surface and with any product, doesn't streak and smells good. Only downside is it is (relatively) expensive.

I'm a spray-and-wipe aholic. I just love the stuff.

It has less cleaning properties than spray and wipe, but the gloss & slickness are tops, and it leaves a streak/residue free surface.

The only 2 QDs that I use much of anymore are Adams Detail Spray and Poorboys S&W. If you like using Showtime, then I say stick with it. Adams has an awesome look to it and I use S&W to clean off all the clay residue before I polish....rather than a bucket and water like a lot of people do. I usually go over a car with Adams after I have finished the exterior to make sure I didnt miss anything.

I've never considered Poorboy's Spray & Wipe as a QD. Just as a wash between washes. Clearkote's Quickshine, Poorboy's Spray & Gloss and Adam's Detail Spray are good choices but the QD that gave the best look on my black Camry had to be Meg's Final Detail. To bad it's no longer made. I tried a sample of their Last Touch QD, but to me it just didn't compare to FD.

I have a small amount of FD left, dont want to use it as I know there is no more!

i like showtime A LOT...probably the best otc qd out there.

i recently got some sonus carnuba spritz and that is THE best ive ever used. it was on sale at only $5/bottle. leaves a more slick surface than showtime. showtime id say leaves a more squeeky clean surface.

Do you mean spray and gloss?

So, I was thinking I'll try #34 for my all around and buy some spray and gloss for my last step while I'm at it. (free shipping and on sale at autogeek for a limited time) Or should I just get S&G which is cheaper than #34? What do you guys think? Should I get spray and wipe while I'm at it?

Ya I just got some spray and gloss today actually (thanks eshine!) and I'm liking it a lot so far. Goes on and comes off easy like Z6, seems to have a little less cleaning ability but a little more gloss. Good smell and it was cheap.

I like Zaino but Sal won't sell in gallon containers so its a no go for me! I buy Griots QD in a gallon container and it is VERY good! Not costly when you buy it in a gallon.
