Best all around QD?

You use QEW without a hose. No rinsing. It was intended for RV'ers so they could wash their RV's at a campsite without needing access to a hose. Works great for apartment dwellers too!

I drip it over the paint first, then wipe it on with the mitt. I've used it in a sprayer for spot cleaning, but not for a whole car.
 
I think it's more of a spray cleaner wax than a quick touch up for fingerprints etc. Easy to use, but I don't like spraying it on the car. I prefer to spray it onto the mf or else pour it on the paint. Lasts longer than typical qd's.
 
ya i just got a bottle and at first i sprayed it on my car and then it streaked like crazy and then i sprayed it on my mf towel and it worked like a charm, i really dont think its a quik detailer as more of a nice wash and wax. do you think it would strip off any wax or sealants if i use it on my car? i have pb's ex sealant w/ carnuba and 2x nattys blue. i plan on using the qd+ once a week or when my car needs it
 
Has anyone tried finish kare 1's #425 Ultra Slick Poly Wipe or #146 Poly Spray Wipe QD? Ive been using mother showtime but its streaks alot, so was thinking of going with Clear Kotes QD or FK1, since I love thier Pink Wax.

If it streaked, it could be due to excessive amounts used. I've found it wipes of fairly easily.

If you just wipe it on and off, it probably won't remove all your previous sealer, but judging by how well it worked on oxidation, I would imagine that it could remove previous LSP's if you worked it a bit.

I think QD+ should last longer than a week. I would use QD+ once every 3 weeks to a month and a "regular" qd weekly/after washes.

You are using too much ;)
 
Using the same amount as other QDs. Besides, the MF sticks alot when wiping off, this has never happen to me before with other QDs.
 
Ive tried qew in a spray bottle 2 caps to a pint of water, and it workes better then some qds. It was easy to wipe off, left the finish slick and glossy and did not streak at all.Ive used it on 2 cars , one was a little dirty and the other was only dusty. I dont think it will work on a real dirty car , but for light soil I think it will be just fine.
 
As Mosca said, most QDs work well and are very similar. Tried all Megs QDs, which are good, Showtime's good (no streaking here), TW Platinum adds carnauba (shake well) - adds depth, QS very good, etc, etc.



If you're happy with Showtime, stick with it...if not try TW Platinum.
