first up tonight Bear republic Hop Rod Rye. man what a great beer with a hoppy taste.

That's an awesome brew. I just got another bottle of the Racer 5, another awesome IPA.

Tonight a bomber of Arcadia Cereal Killer BarleyWine, this is the last of the Arcadia's for me for now. This brew is an English Barleywine and very tasty, highly recommended.

Last night was a North Coast Old Rasputin for me. One of my favorite Russian Imperial Stouts, very tasty.

I'll put out another reminder for anyone that's going to be in the Portland, OR area this weekend. Taps start flowing for the Oregon Brewers Festival tomorrow at noon. 73 Microbreweries down at Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. It's a fantastic opportunity to try some new brews, and always a lot of fun.

First up, a very very tasty brew, Weihenstephaner Korbinian, just get it. My next brew tonight will be my 800th review on BA.

For my 800th review on BA I went with the Weyerbacher Old Heathen Imperial Stout, this is a very tasty stout, recommended.

Wow... 800 reviews! That's amazing.

Tonight for me is a D i c k's Lava Rock Porter. Pretty tasty, not my favorite porter, but I like it.

Edited: apparently ****'s is a no-no :lol

Some Fat Tire yummmmy. Other day I get in my office and theres a big box, open it up and its two cases of Fat Tire...I'm like who the heck sent beer to my office LOL. I didn't recognize the address since it was from IL hq's. Then I found the thank you note, it was one of my banks from a building I financed that was based in Colorado, I joked with them awhile back and said you guys have the good beer out there we can't get (Fat Tire). So they sent me some cases :D

I've heard good things about Berkshire, so I do have a bomber of the Coffeehouse Porter on hand. I also have a trade in the works for the:

Berkshire Ale Traditional Pale Ale

Berkshire Imperial Stout

Coffeehouse Porter (will be my second bottle)

Drayman's Porter

River Ale

Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale

Second up tonight something from the Empyrean Brewing Company, a Dark Side Vanilla Porter, this is a pretty tasty porter, with a nice touch of sweetness/vanilla.

I just had some a little time ago, tasty, still have one bottle left.

[Leatherlips IPA] The brewery is a five minute drive from me, so I grab a growler from time to time as well.

I just picked up some Victory Hop devil, Good stuff and a local brew

A very tasty brew and brewery. If you have not tried yet, checkout the Hop Wallop, and Old Horizontal, two of my favorites from Victory.

John...here is another brewery near me....actually to close...lol....and the do have some tasty brews....

Pioneer Beer

you can buy your own stien and they shelve it for you.....when you come in you get your own Stein....

they serve some great food also....its a treat going there...its on a farm....

Al

ok John , I will try them. I got the hop devil in a case. Victory is local, But I don't go often because of the poor layout of the bar. It's usually packed and I always end up standing by the door because of no seats.
