I have a hankering for an ice cold can of Hamm's! :up

You're a sick man! Back in college, we would drink Hamm's at keg parties. All you can drink for a dollar. It was either Hamms or Old Milwaukee, and it was swill. Pabst and Stroh's were better.

Schlitz was just as bad, maybe worse. IIRC the deposit on returnable bottles was more than the beer. :D

[Edit: the more I think about it, the more I think it was Blatz that cost less than the bottles. Of course this was in the '80s.]

I've had a few Goose Island's as well, the Imperial IPA is very tasty.

I can get it in Milwaukee but not here on the West Coast of Michigan (yes we really call it that). Good thing there are a few good breweries here. Bell's, Founders, and Grand Rapids Brewery to name a few.

Grabbed a bunch of different beers the other night, reminded me of this thread.

Just had some Hazed and Infuzed Dry-Hop Ale....wow, loved it, excellent beer :2thumbs:

I have a 6 pack of Fat Tire sitting in the fridge waiting on me to take it down, but unfortunately I'm still on pain killers from having my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday... I want a beer, but doubt Id be able to function if I did while I'm this medicated

Lenny,

What about Arcadia? I will be having a few in the next few days, I have about 9 bottles.

Good stuff! I usually don't have bottles around, I prefer kegged beer. However that cuts way down on the variety.

Best beer I've had lately in my travels is Stone IPA. I was in Houston but the beer is fron CA.

Have you had anything from Boulder Beer? That Hazed and Infused was soooooo good:drool:

Yes, I've had the Hazed and Infused, MoJo, Pass Time Pale Ale, Sundance Amber Ale, and the Sweaty Betty Blonde. I have a bottle of the GABF 25th Beer in the closet to be had later on. There a decent brewery from CO.

WELL WELL WELL, today so far a Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout, if you can find it, grab as many bottles as you can, this is one delicious brew. At 10% ABV, you will never know it, believe me. Simply an amazing brew. Will do the usual grilling, steak, brat's, and some potatoe salad. Most likely another brew or two or three, LOL CHEERS!

Just had a Arcadia Amber Ale, very disappointed in the brew and brewery at this time, must be a bad bottle, but it basically blew up on me, sour, nothing like an amber ale. I do have other's and I've had the London Porter a little while ago, so I'm still optimistic.

Well, another Arcadia brew for me today, an Angler's Ale, it's an APA, but not quite up to standard in my book, still dis-appointed with this brewery at this time.

Last night I had a Redbridge, made from sorgham. No wheat or barley. Very different, distinct taste. I like it well enough, but it won't be something I drink volumes of in a sitting. Kinda odd to have the sorghum flavor in a beer, makes me want buttered bisquits. :)

Another Arcadia brew tonight, a Nut Brown Ale, I'm still disappointed with them, there seems to be a sourness to there brew's so far, maybe bad bottles or whatever. I would not recommend them as of date.

Another Arcadia brew tonight, a IPA, there tends to be a sourness note to these brew's so far, still dis-appointed.
