Beer Time

Did a little detailing to my X today, so I thought I would have a brew afterwards, lol Having a Blue Point Hoptical Illusion, a nice little tasty IPA, goes down real easy/smooth, recommended.

Should be my last one for the night. This is a 2004 Vintage, bottle 80 of 500. Southampton Old Herb, a BarleyWine, clocks in at 11% ABV. It's malty, has some prunes, figs, raisins, toffee/butterscotch, and caramel. A nice well rounded brew. Hit's the spot quite well. If you can get your hands on some, do it.

Having a Magic Hat Hi.P.A. today, tasty. Got some Polish Kielbasa, and Steak going on the grill, potatoe salad, and watermelon.

My third for the day, it's been about 35 years since the last time I had this brew. It is tastier than a Bud, Coors, Miller. Drum Roll please, a Narragansett Beer, a lot different than when last had. Much more body, flavor.

Probably my last for the day, a truely classic IPA. Thomas Hooker Hop Meadow IPA, a very delicious IPA, highly recommended, really love this brewery.

Tonight a Tommyknocker Imperial Nut Brown Ale, man this is a delicious brew, highly recommended if you can find it.

I just ran across this thread today. For a Utah resident you seem to drink a lot of Wisconsin beers!

I'm in Michigan, and I got sick of returning bottles all the time. I get kegs from a brew pub not too far away (Old Boys Brewpub in Spring Lake). I'm drinking the IPA tonight, too bad it's seasonal. I used to have Goose Island but the local brew tastes much better.

When I have time I'll brew my own, but that's about once a year nowadays. I'll brew six 5 gallon batches and keg them.

Welcome aboard Lenny! New Glarus makes some very nice brew's. I've had a few Goose Island's as well, the Imperial IPA is very tasty.
