Beer Time

Founders, Three Floyds, and Bell's. A friend could get them, and then shipped to me. Really some awesome brew's.

I've had Fat Tire several times in the past. It's a nice beer - the last swig from a bottle is always a little odd for me.

Fat Tire is good on tap.

I had a nice 16 oz. Budweiser white label last night. Now that's living the high life baby!

Today I am going out to get some Pumpkin Ale. Michelob makes an absolutely outstanding one this time of year. Believe it or not, it is FAR better than any micro brew pumpkin ale I have had.

Try some Dogfish Head Pumpkin Ale. The Wasatch Brewery's Pumpkin is absolutely delicious.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think that the Dogfish may be available locally, but I have never seen a Wasatch beer here.

Tonight a bomber of Rogue Festive Ale, it's a Saison, not bad, but most likely will not buy again. I really enjoyed the Saison Dupont. I have a bottle of Fantome Saison to checkout later on this year.

Today I'm having a couple of Bell's Kalamazoo Stout. This is my 400th review. Just absolutely delicious. Poured into a pint glass, a black color, nice carbonation, nice creamy tan head, some lacing afterwards. Scents of sweet roasted malts, and toffee/chocolate. The taste is a creamy sweet roasted malt, with a nice toffee finish. Medium body, slightly carbonated feel on the tongue. Very drinkable, glad to had a chance to checkout this fabulous brew. Will also be grilling a steak and some Polish Kielbasa (home made), and potatoe salad.

working on a stoudts oktober fest now. wow .... i picked up a dogfish head 120 min IPA the other day in the store. almost $10 per bottle ?!? that's gonna have to be one good beer !!!

last night was a Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. it was excellent, as are all Old Dominion beers.

I also have a bottle of the 120 min., been sitting on it for awhile now. It will knock your socks off I hear, sip it carefully, LOL

Having a couple of Four + Brewing Co. Punk'n Ale, not like the other Pumpkin Ale, would not buy again. No pumpkin flavor or spiced enough.

I thought I would start another thread for this long weekend of grilling, beer drinking, and having fun. Well, tonight I'm having a Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA, it clocks in at 7% ABV, has a sweet/bitter flavor with a nice bite in the finish. Scents of hops, sweet malts, and citrus. I will be having a Bear Republic weekend, lol Anyone else enjoying a nice brew this long weekend?

That would be really interesting..However, it's quite early in here to have a beer break..

Well, that's really a good and exciting moments after work-to chill out and have a party..

Don't know if Stella Artois has been mentioned on here, but it's my favourite. Since winter is fast approaching, though, rye and coke season is just around the corner! 12yr Canadian Club for me.

Welcome aboard Alex. Stop in anytime and chip in with a review of sort's. Try a barleywine brew this coming winter.
