Just asking a question. Why do you insist on making comments about a product you have NO experience using? No just this thread any Zaino thread.

I thought I answered that as far as this thread is concerned.

Am I not allowed to comment on Zaino at all? I've never bashed it.

Oh well, despite the impending rain, I have a Lexus SC430 to wash, polish and wax. I'll be sure to take some overexposed pictues and post them. ;)

To see who the true zealots are that really need to chill, just count who's been posting the most here.

According to what I've seen here in this thread, I'm really beginning to wonder why the concept of a "zaino zealot" still even exists.

Yes Scott, you're a friend, but as a friend, I've got to tell you that you've definitely been pretty opinionated about Zaino and I think it's pretty sad that you're pretending not to be.

:nono That isn't fair. I am not a Zaino person, but it is a good product. Just some of the users go way overboard.

I used it and absolutely hated it. It left an uneven, shallow finish on my car. I admit I bought into the hype but sometimes you've got to do that in order to find out the truth about a product.

Its way overpriced as well.

Hello Bill,

My current favorite product: Johnson's Pledge Furniture Polish

Cost = $4.79 for 12.5 oz or about $0.38 per oz.

Need about 2 oz to do a car.

Total cost = 0.76 per use.

Z1 + Z2 = $26 dollars for 16 oz.

Cost = $1.625 per oz.

Need about 1/2 oz of Z1 and 1/2 of Z2 to do a car.

Total cost = $1.625.

But of course, the first option is "free" because I can secretly

use my wife's Pledge without her knowing it.

On the other hand, it is currently very difficult to get another

dime from my wife to buy yet another boutique car wax/sealant

being recommended by you sick folks.

If someone posted they put 75 coats of EX-P on their car, they would be hailed as a savior and a true life detailing hero.

Maybe at Detail City, but not here :p :D

Like the POINT of this thread however, their motives would be questioned.

I have never used Zaino and probably never will. So from an objective view point, I did not see a SINGLE attempt in the intial post to bash or put down Zaino. He simply questioned 75 layers and we all (or most of use with a sense of humor) got a kick out of it until Glass Jaw BradE came flying in from left field with his panties in a bunch. Dude, who whizzed in your Corn Flakes?

As far as juding him; we have every right to judge him! Why does everything have to be so relative and folks be so sensitive? When something falls outside the cultural norm of detailing (eg. 75+ layers), we have all the RIGHT in the world to JUDGE that. It's like if a woman dressed like a call girl to a funeral, you would turn to your wife or friend and make a comment judging her. The same applies to someone putting 75 layers on a car. So I don't see the validity in not being able to judge a technique, process or preparation.

Zaino users are like infants when it comes to talking about anything that might be negative about it. This is just my observation. And again, I have never used the product.

Oh, I would like to thank ScottWax for "hyping" Clearkote. I just LOVE, LOVE my Vanilla Moose!!!
